Forgive me if this is not the correct forum for my question, but I was hoping you guys could help me out. I am looking to take advantage of the holiday sales and pick up the regular SWAP Force starter pack as I already have the Dark Starter. I don't need the game or portal, and I was curious if there was a specific platform that resells better than the others? I would assume it would be either the PS4 or XB1. I can get the Starter from Best Buy for $35, and I will turn around and put the game and portal up on eBay. I would love to get my $35 back or as close as possible, and I was hoping you guys could help me decide. Thanks in advance.

If you intend to take out the characters, I'm not sure you'll have an easy time reselling the game regardless of the platform. (That's what I'm getting from your post, but if you're not then disregard this lol)

On one hand, PS4 and XB1 I don't really see as a platform many people will be buying the game on. If you asked me, I'd say the Wii U or 360/PS3 would probably be the easiest version to resell; 360/PS3 has a very large userbase already (ie, more people potentially looking for the game) and the Wii U has the kid friendly appeal to it (which leads me to personally believe a lot of the consoles will sell during the holdiays along with Swap Force)

Good points, spyroflame0487. Thank you. And, yes, I am keeping the characters. As I see it, even if I can get $20 for the game & portal alone, that will translate to $5 each for the three. I can live with that! I will keep monitoring eBay sales for a frontrunner.

Over the past 3 games I have never had an issue selling starter packs sans some or all of the characters, as long as my asking price was realistic.
