Hey guys,
So lately i've been thinking of contacting Activision and seeing if they will make a "The Art of: Legend of Spyro" Now there a few things to mention.

1. The Art Book will consist of art from all 3 games

2. I will need support and a BIG amount of it in order to have them consider this idea. (If we can get enough support i actually think we can get this book)

3. If in the end they do make it, the people who supported the idea must back it up by buying the book...

Please if you have any ideas or thoughts feel free to post them! I would really like to see this become a reality and it would be a very nice collection to the LoS series...

I'd certainly buy that book, but I don't think it's going to happen. Thankfully, we have Jared Pollen's blog (I think that's his name...Aura, do you remember the LoS concept artist from Krome who's been posting stuff to his blog?).

For as dark as the Krome games tried to be, they certainly have some cartoony artwork about them. ^.^;

Yeah. With activision being busy with sky landers is doubt we will but there is hope. Also very interesting to see this site with the artwork but for me I peter a book

HIR: I don't think the games ever meant to be as dark as they turned out. It was always stated that LoS was meant to be like a Pixar movie.

Still I believe skylanders ruined spyro for most of us

I tried contacting Activision with no avail...the only thing i can think of is for someone who has connections to try and contact them...but again because of the game being made by 2 different companies, I doubt we will see a true legend of spyro art book. Sure there is art of it floating around and on the games but it would be really nice to have an art book to keep and collect.

Contacting Activision won't do you any good, I'm afraid.

ActiVision was the only company you could contact for this sort of thing and, like has been said elsewhere, this sort of project is not worth their time/money for a number of reasons. Also, most of the material you want to see is already available for free online if you look hard enough.
