New guy so hello and apologize if this topic is against the rules in some way.

So where does everyone buy there figures? Walmart for the price, Toy r Us for selection and discounts , then target as the exclusive duo packs?

I plan to check all of them and see what specials or figures might be available, just wondering if there might be anywhere else special people were going.

I think Walmart is the best, because my target has like 1,000,000 flash wings and nothing else, and my toys r us takes forever to get new things. So idk what is best for u though.

Honestly,

Target is the high price with the an average collection (right now, though it does sway)

Walmart is the low price but the worst selection

TRU is pretty much the same pricing as Target with the best selection. However, with sales, it brings their price down to Walmart or close to it.

Gamestop is pretty much a joke due to pricing and selection. Got my Dark Set from there, avoid it outside of that.

Amazon can randomly have a good price, but I mostly come across 'people' selling on Amazon - with high pricing.

I frankly did 95% of my figure purchases from TRU with a trip to Target for Nitro MAgna Charge.

TRU for me. For Giants I got stuff wherever I could find it, but that ended up being TRU more often than not. They cost a bit more, but if you watch for the sales it's not that bad. So far for Swap Force the only figure I didn't get at TRU was Enchanted Hoot Loop. I also like that they send out the emails when the new stuff comes out.

Thanks for replies.
My only tip for those shopping for the best deals is to check online daily.
Caught a good deal at TRU online on some SSA figures and got a giant for cheap from amazon the other day.

Anywhere I can get them. Walmart, Target, K Mart, TRU, Game Stop and Best Buy. I usually check Walmart everyday, except today. I have a sick kid and the wife's at work...DOH!!!

Amazon is usually no different than everywhere else, unless it's something like boomer or ghost roaster

I go to retail stores. Restaurants are a bad place to look, although you can get a meal out of it, so it's not a wasted trip.

Toys R Us and Target are my defaults for brick and mortar type stores. Amazon and I have been fairly regular for when I can get them as standard price or get a pre-order on something. Walmart, Best Buy, and Gamestop are pretty rare outside of a random exclusive or pure dumb luck if something happen to come in at the right now.

Gamestop isn't that bad actually. I got to know the management team really well and they contact me with new arrivals and even hold stock. I do preorder a lot from them though, so it may be a give and take relationship, but Gamestop has worked for me the past.

Not to mention the adventure club offers buy 6 get 1 free and I have gotten $30 off Swap Force characters because of this, which after doing the math, Gamestop was the smartest choice for me outside of Buy 1 get 1's or other similar deals that are not consistently offered at retailers.

Target usually for me. Price is good compared to TRU. I do buy them at TRU but usually own special variants and the like because of the slightly higher price. (i dunno if they reduced them back to normal or not though. I'm not particularly bothered to find out either)

I don't really care for TRU especially the way they handle things like Skylanders so I guess that's probably my more deciding factor. Walmart for the most part has had a pretty meh selection of figures through all 3 games. I'll sometimes see something I need there and grab it.

Aside from store exclusives, I have found TRU to be the most reliable and accessible physically. Other than that Amazon is sweet. Both Target and WalMart are a long commute away while Best Buy and Gamestop are patchy (though I've gotten more from Gamestop than Target, Walmart and Best Buy combined).

So I guess TRU now has the best pricing, 2 for 22 on the swappers.
Of course the one I was in had nothing but free rangers left on the shelf...
