If spyro was never made, skylanders wouldn't exist because it originally was going to be a spyro game called spyro's kingdom.

If Spyro was never made, it would have taken developers a bit longer to start using level of detail in video games.

Well, a chunk of my childhood would be missing if we're speaking about Spyro 1-3.

At least I'd still have the superior series, Crash Bandicoot. To be honest, as a kid I preferred Spyro more, but it hasn't aged as well. Crash Bandicoot also has such a unique charm to it, was awesome to play, and so damn likable. No fetch quests or annoying NPC's either.

I'm speaking Crash 1-3 +CTR here.

It probably would have been all Nintendo for me, if I weren't to steer clear of the GameCube.

PlayStation would have had a harder time trying to expand their audience.

I'd probably be obsessed with Disney Infinity. That's how I was before I got Skylanders.
