Veteran Recognition

I believe that veterans deserve more recognition. They do so much for our country and they only get one day of celebration! Veterans risk their lives to keep us safe, and in my opinion I feel like they should be recognized for this. Here are a few ways that you can give them the more appreciation.

One way you could give them recognition is through simply praying. Praying is easy and requires no money whatsoever! It’s clear that God is receiving our prayers. Without a doubt it is aiding to keep our brave veterans away from harm’s way. It’s vital that they stay safe to return home to their families.

Of course another way is by flying the flag everyday! You never have to take it down, which means no folding! Every time a veteran sees it, it will bring a smile to their face. It is a great way to show off pride and appreciation of our amazing country. It’s so simple, yet so overlooked.

I know veteran’s would enjoy being thanked in public as well. When walking around the mall or an airport or anywhere else, when you see a veteran, take a second of your time to tell them thank you! It’s just one more to show recognition of their honour and bravery! This is just another free method!

If we can get more and more people to do these simple things, veterans will become more recognized for what they’ve done. All these ways are so easy and free, there isn’t an excuse not to do them! The fact is veterans keep us and our loved ones safe. They truly deserve more recognition.
