Ok. I want you to imagine a world where dragons are real. Some people have their own dragon partner that walks around with them. They are always telling stories about the dragon realm. Because the only way to get to the dragon realm is if you have a Dragon partner. So you think to yourself, "How do I get my own Dragon?"

Well there is only one way to get a Dragon. The dragon elders watch over us constantly. And when they think you are ready they will present you with an egg. Now depending on your personality that will play as one of the factors on how your egg will look. If you are always sad then your egg will most likely be blue. If you like to imagine things then it would be silver with stars. If you're angry then it will be red. If you are generally a happy person then it would be bright yellow. Now on some rare occassions a black egg will be presented. You would always have to act evil to receive one of those. As much as the elders hate giving them out, they have no choice. A black egg contains an evil dragon. But there is always more good dragons than bad. So we do not have to worry.

Before the egg hatches (which is exactly one week after the Elders give it to you) you have to care for the egg. Although the egg is covered with magic and is as hard as a rock you have to look after it. So during that week you wonder to yourself, " I wonder what my dragon will look like?"

A few days after it hatches you have to take the baby dragon to the elders for inspection. During the inspection one of the elders gives you and your dragon a necklace. This necklace proves that you have been given your dragon partner. And your dragon's necklace tells everyone that he has a friend for life. Once you put these necklaces on they can never come off.

During the next few weeks you wonder "What kind of breath will my dragon breath?" Well one day while you are out, your dragon visits the Elders. That is where your dragon chooses what breath he wants to learn and the elders teach it to him.

So now that you have your very own Dragon partner, you can go with him or her to the dragon realm whenever you want. And remember you do not own the dragon, he or she is your partner and life-long best friend.

I hope it's all right i continue the list of eggs, 'cuz i think i know what mine would be like: A big dark-blue one, with wind-like purple, silver and bright blue markings! That would match my personality pretty well,
'cuz i'm always far away in my own world, and when people try to speak to me, i usually don't listen, unless it's important, and i don't see the world as the boring, grey, evil world it actually is, but a place filled with life and magic!

Ok, now i begin to sound like a 7-year old freak or something, but it's true!

And the dragon that comes out of the egg would be dark-blue with silver and bright blue wings, and purple horns and a purple tail, and those wind-markings all over it

Sure it's ok. My egg would probably be dark green. Then when my dragon was born, he would be all green. Sounds kinda boring I know.

I'd probably have an electric dragon. I'd look like Volteer but instead of purple markings they'd probably be orange. Cause I have habits of talking fast and putting too much detail into things so people lose interest in what I'm explaining .

To ice_bomb: I once had an idea about this, too (When I was still not registered, here), but I never decided to post it, coz I didn't wrote it I made it up in my mind ^,^ I always dreamed, so that dragons would be real, and ya know, I really do think that they are, only in some other worlds and perhaps, they look kinda diferent, then how we imagine them.
