"Jake is... someone I despise now. Sachi is Xander's sister, and she's pretty nice. She keeps Jake in line" Jay replies to Drake

OOC: I'ma to lazy to quote the post

Sachi walked to Xander and rested her hand on his flank.
"Oh brother, you poor thing." She says sadly. She looks at Jay. "I'm sorry about Jake. He's changed so much. I wish he could like your kind more."

Persephone lays a small hand on Sachi's shoulder.
"Want to borrow my wings? Why don't you test his trust and love for you? If you are one of us, maybe he might act differently." She says.

"Some are just different. We used to be best friends, but I guess he just doesn't like shifters, and other types of creatures that aren't fully human." Jay said.

"Changed?? That...man changed? How?"

Persephone smiles.
"We can change that. All we need to do is have Sachi borrow my wings. A test of truth and love. Can Jake accept her or reject her?" She says slyly.

"I-I'll do it. For Xander, Jay, Serge, all of you." Sachi stutters.

Serge blinks.
"Sachi."

"Sachi? You would really do it?" Jay asks

Sachi nods.
"It's like Xander said. We're so split."

Persephone smiles.
"Alright. I can't lend them for long, but a decent amount of time. Transfer time." She says. She closes her eyes and begins chanting and soon Persephone loses her wings, and Sachi gains them.

"Good luck Sachi" Jay says.

"Huh, yeah. I guess you have a point there..."

Sachi nods and runs off. She sees Jake and stops running. She folds her wings so he can't see them.
"Jake!" She calls.

Jake turns to see Sachi. He waved to her.

Sachi walks slowly to Jake, taking a deep breath.
"Jake, I need to ask something very important." She says softly.

Persephone smiles.
"Everything is going well."

"What is it?" Jake asks

"Hey Jay, is Xander gonna be okay?" Nega asked concernedly.

"How would you react, if I told you..." Sachi said, beginning to spread the black wings, "that I am one of them."

Serge looks at Xander.
"Persephone, can you heal him a little?" He begs.

"Yes brother." Persephone says, walking over.

Jake's eyes widen. "What!? Why didn't you ever tell me!! How could you keep from me that you're... you're... A FREAK!?" Jake yelled

"We can hope" Jay replied to Nega

Sachi looked at the ground.
"I never told you because I knew you would react like this. That you would hate me and call me a freak. I'm sorry, Jake." She protests weakly.

Persephone chants softly, using what power she has without her wings to heal Xander.

"Of course I would react like this! I hate shifters, I hate aliens, I HATE FREAKS LIKE YOU AND JAY!" Jake yelled

Jay heard her name and morphed to wolf form as she darted to where Jake was, pinning him to the ground.

Persephone ran after Jay.
"Wow. I knew he was dark-hearted. What did I tell ya?" She said. She turns to Sachi. "May I have my wings back?"

Sachi nods and smiles.
"Of course." She says, chanting with Persephone to give her wings back.

Jake looked at Sachi as Jay got off of him. "Alright, what is going on here" Jake growled

"A test. Which you failed miserably. You would hate your own girlfriend if she was like us. You are a dark-hearted beast" Jay said, angry.

Sachi folded her arms and nodded.

Persephone shook her head.
"I'm surprised you didn't remember that these are my wings, and that Xander stated that his sister is a mortal."

"I don't normally pay attention to freaks" Jake stated simply

"Oh shut up. You call us freaks, when you're the true freak here Jake" Jay said.

OOC: Why do I feel a fun urge to make Jake a long lost brother?

Sachi looks away from Jake. She was trying to disguise the fact she was close to tears.

Persephone held Sachi's hand and looked up at Sachi with wide gold eyes.
"He's so cold hearted. Why did you like him?" She asks.

"I saw good in him. I did. But now, I don't know. He...He's changed." Sachi sniffed, a tear running down her cheek.

OOC: That'd be soooo funny

Jay looked Jake in the eyes "You don't deserve a great girl like Sachi" Jay said angrily as she padded to Sachi

Jake glared at Jay.

OOC: Wouldn't it?

Persephone hugged Sachi tight to reassure and cheer her up.

Sachi smiled slightly, but it was hard to distinguish through the tears.
"Jake. There was a time when I thought you were good. I thought I could trust you. If you can't accept my brother and my friends, I-I'm afraid I can't accept you." She cried softly.

Jake's face fell. "Sachi... Are you serious? You'd rather be friends with freaks, than be with someone like you?" Jake asked, hurt.

Jay gently lay her muzzle on Sachi's foot.

Sachi blinked away tears. She ran to Jake and gave him a hug before kneeling in front of him and looking him in the eyes, tears running down her face.
"I want to be with you Jake, but also my friends. You called my brother a freak and I can't just stand and let you say such things about him. My brother is my family, and so are the ones you call "freaks". Jay was a part of your family, but you left her. You judged her appearance instead of her heart. I won't accept that."

"Sachi..." Jake said quietly, as the pain sinked in. "I guess I really am alone. Maybe someday we can be together again... But I just can't handle being around these f-... Shifters, at the moment. Maybe we'll meet again" Jake said, as a small tear formed in his eye.

Jay's ears perked up. "Did you just say 'Shifters'?" Jay asked, a little stunned

Sachi smiled, a real smile. She kisses Jake softly on the lips and wipes away his tears.
"Jake. Please find that good side in you. When you do, I'm sure we'll see each other again." She says softly.

Jake nods and waves goodbye, disappearing into the thick forest.

Jay still looked a little stunned "Seriously, did anyone else hear him say Shifter?"

Sachi smiles, wiping her tears.
"I did."

OOC: If this was a book, perfect ending right now.

OOC: Totally. Then there'd be a sequel with a reunion or something

"First time he's said that" Jay grumbled

OOC: ikr?!

Sachi smiles and turns away.
"Let's go." She says softly.

Jay nods as she pads back to Xander

Persephone flies to Xander's side. She begins to use her full power to heal him.
"This is bad." She says suddenly.

Jay whimpers "What's wrong?" Jay asks, worried

"A pulse. Xander doesn't have one. He seems to have stopped breathing too." Persephone says frightfully.

Jay's heart sank as she darted to Xander's side, now in human form. "No.Nononono. Nooooo" Jay said, freaking out. She lay her hand on Xander's cheek as she began to cry.

Serge was blinking away tears. He looked at Persephone.
"I'll give my life." He says.

Persephone whips around to face her older brother.
"What?! Brother are you crazy?!"

Serge shakes his head.
"Xander is family. I'll do even the craziest things for him." He says, smiling as he thought of the time that he saved Xander when they were ten.

"Can't believe I'm saying this, but listen to the fairy, she as long as the others know, know's all."

"Serge... That's probably the nicest thing you're doing for someone" Jay says as a tear falls.

Serge smiles a real smile. He gives Jay a hug, something he never does.
"You love Xander so much. Xander deserves to be with you. Take care of him for I no longer will be able to."

"Who's Serge?" asked Nega.

Jay cries as she hugs Serge. "I will" She says

OOC: I'm crying right now, this is so sad D:

"Agreed, we can only hope for the best." Nega said
OCC: Can I add another character?

OOC: Omg I'm crying too.

Serge smiles and turns to Persephone.
"Let's do this." He says.

"Pray the angel gives you another life, brother." Persephone says softly.

"Serge... Thank you" Jay says, in between her sobs.

Jake was peering out from a ways away, looking at everyone, and sighed.

Serge nods.

"I'm not going to look at you during this, brother. I'll start crying." Persephone says, and she waits for Serge to hold Xander's cold hand before she begins chanting.

Jay quietly cries as she watches.
