U.S. Flies Military Aircraft in Chinese Airspace [CLOSED]

Are we TRYING to start a war?


I heard it on CCTV, but it's also on CBS, MSNBC, RT......Everywhere except Fox, for some reason >.>

Chinese law dictates that if unidentified aircraft enter the airspace, the Air Force will immediately take defensive action; the United States, ironically, created this policy. Besides, these aren't just regular craft; they're B-52s. Bombers.

The airspace had previously been used publicly by many nations for military exercises; China was foolish to attempt to claim it, and we were foolish to protest it with military equipment. Therefore, I see fault on both sides.

Upon reading this I got an urge to post Doom Paul, but then I realized that most people probably wouldn't be able to tell that I'd have meant it as sarcasm.

I'd like to think that humans are logical beings and wouldn't start a war over something so trivial. I also understand why news like these usually travel quickly. The general public loves to read about possible conflicts.

I'm also sure that both USA and China would understand that a war of this scale would be devastating for them both (something I'm sure they want to avoid).

China's the single largest holder of US debt. If something awful happens to us, they're going to wind up in serious financial trouble as well. OUR DESTINIES ARE FOREVER INTERTWINED! *brick'd* x.x;
