I don't know if you have collected from the bird house, but I have just to collect from it and has given to me both: "2 gems and energy". I think I'm not wrong, because I have nothing that gives energy placed near the bird house.
If this is so, the bird house is not bad for 200 gems. I will pay attention the next time I collect from it.
May be it's a little glitch.....

That is just the first collect. On new houses you get max gems + another payout on the first collect.

Ugh. 2 gems is the max payout. Yep. These are like Scout/Cadet HQs alright...

I knew that in the first collection always get gems, but I never noticed that the houses should give 2 rewards together the first time. It's good.....
Well, then it's as you say, they are like HQ.
