can you use the pro controller on the old virtual console games that used gamecube controllers?(ex:ocarina of time)

I'm 99% sure the Wii U Pro Controller can be used for all Virtual Console games released on the Wii U eShop, but it can't be used when in Wii Mode.

yes and no, it depends on if you have upgraded them to the wii u version or not. If you haven't, then no. If you have, then yes.

If the games are released on both the Wii Shop and the Wii U eShop, you can upgrade your Wii Virtual Console game to a Wii U Virtual Console game for a small price, adding off-TV play and new controller support. I think the only Virtual Console games on the Wii U eShop so far are NES and SNES games, though, but more are obviously being added regularly. |
