This is a notice for anyone with the bluetooth portal, Legendary Night Shift is in Lost Islands.

Based on interview comments, every one is in Lost Islands if you have the portal.

And still no earth element swap...urrrgh!

Yeah I think all characters are in there but the have a schedule when they release them. For instance I have a mission for Jade fire kraken......my guess is he is coded in the game but the only way to unlock him is by getting the toy which is not released yet.

Do they not release in Lost Islands roughly when they release in stores? What is the delay usually? I bought Legendary Free Ranger awhile ago, and I still can't put his code in. (The main reason this annoys me is because air is the only element that I only have 3 Skylanders for in LI... lol.)

I have him and bought him day one. There was an issue if I remember correctly with that legendary at first but it was resolved. I got legendary night shift and zoo loo day one and both were available through the Bluetooth portal.

The only way to add him is by the Bluetooth portal. If there is a toy, it's more than likely in the game if you use your portal. These special characters are delayed randomly but the devs are delaying there official release in the game initially. Right now I have like 118 total characters but I know there is not that many available to buy/spin so that can give you an idea what's really available.

Upon release, they seem to be putting the regular figures as options to buy/spin in the weekly update following their release. The store exclusive variants, however, aren't that way. Has anyone tried using the codes for Legendaries on the regular versions? I know before that if they didn't have the variant in the game, you could use the variant's code for the regular version and when the variant was released, you could use the code again for the variant. So it was like getting 2 for 1. I did that with my Molten Hot Dog. I would have with Jade Flashwing, but I had to wait to give her to my son for his birthday and they released her after I picked her up but before his birthday.

It seems, now, that they may have all the Skylanders programmed (at least those that are released), but not all of them can be bought/spun for. So I wonder if the 2 for 1 webcode trick will work, still. I also wonder if they have the non-released Skylanders coded in. I guess there's really no way to figure it out unless someone got an early release of one of the figures. I guess once they get released, someone on day 1 could try it, because I'm sure there will be a few days between the release and update. Although they could have programmed them in the update before, just not for buy/spin.

Legendary Free Ranger's code did not work for regular Free Ranger. I don't know about any others, though.
(Well, "Light Core" ones work for regulars, but there aren't any light core specific variants in LI that I know of.)
