I've noticed that scout HQ don't apply a bonus for characters with number 1 fans. Does anyone know why this is? I also notice no female characters have number 1 fans, why no love for the ladies Activision? Also, has anyone noticed that sheep/trolls are sticking to chest that are spawned when you "bust the mob" so to speak.

I don't recall getting any of the extra bonuses (the ones that generate an extra icon) on any of the houses. I think they only apply to adventures, sanctuaries, and crops.

Yes. That's been my experience too, which is why scout and cadet HQs are bad investments. They don't get element of e day or shrine bonuses either.

I haven't tried with the HQs, but I know that, when the payout is gold, my giants have received the Gigantus bonus from their houses, Spyro gets the #1 fan bonus with the Dragon's Lair, and Barkley/TreeRex get the #1 fan bonus from TreeRex's house. I agree that element of the day and shrine bonuses do not apply.

I just haven't paid enough attention. I checked onmy payouts tonight and you're right, the companions do affect house payouts, even the HQ.
