this may sound like a bad idea but there could be figures that you can take off the base and play with as an action figure!

(this is my idea and it is not true)

Articulated figures would be cool, but they wouldn't bring anything to the in game experience and would drive the figure cost up. Can't see that happening.

If they were to go that route, THIS is my idea for Skylander (lets say, urm, 12?)

what does the video show? i can't watch it. By the way, the idea of articulated skylanders would defeat the purpose of "frozen on the outside, alive on the inside".

The video shows the Anime "Angelic Layer" where 'dolls' are brought to life inside a game....
The main difference is that the actual figure moves and becomes animated while in a special play arena instead of just on screen and they are used to fight PvP style
