Sony Needs a Mascot. (Mascot Election 2013) [CLOSED]

They Need one. Who do you think should be the face of sony?
Right now just say who you would want most, and in 2 weeks I will tally the votes and the 4 highest rated characters will go head to head in a poll, and the wuinner of tha will be the unnoficial mascot here.
The ERules are fairly simple, you can only vote once but youmay change your vote as many times as you like until the major poll in 2 weeks, and only vote for Sony characters.
What are you waiting for? Greatness awaits.

Sony already has a mascot in Japan: http://www.giantbomb.com/toro-inoue/3005-7885/

He's even called "Sony Cat" and is very popular in Asia. He's just never appeared anywhere outside of Japan until Street Fighter X Tekken (PS3 version only, since he's property of Sony) and Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale.


Even though he's only the Japanese mascot, I don't think Sony really needs another one.

Even though I think Sackboy would be the ideal mascot for Sony, it's pretty much commonly accepted that Nathan Drake is their mascot (and that Uncharted is their flagship franchise).

Oh...I've actually never seen that before.

Which kind of leads me to believe it wouldn't be the new mascot, considering how it's difficult to come across it, and even more so to find it's name (if it even has one).

This video shows what you can do with the PS Eye.

The little robot's name is Asobi and he pretty much just gives hints and tips on this specific game for the PS Eye. It starts with another minigame but if you go to 6:58, they'll play with Asobi there.

It's kinda hard to hear them so you should wear headphones. Start a low volume and increase to which way you see best.

I doubt Sony will ever have a face - the highest selling games are usually third parties. Sly Cooper is the best Sony exclusive IMO, and has the most characterization. As a Nintendo-only user, I say that he would most likely be the best canidate and a lot of Nintendo fans would love to play him on thier devices.
