I apologize if this has been answered in another topic but I couldn't find it. Do we know for certain that the GITD Rattle Shake that is being offered through the Frito-Lay promotion is the same figure as Quick Draw Rattle Shake that has been found through data mining? Wouldn't or couldn't the GITD version just show up as "Special" and the Quick Version be an entirely different retail release? None of the previous Frito-Lay promotions have been actual in-game variants to my knowledge (not including the sidekicks obviously). What are your thoughts on this?

The Frito Lay bags for this promo specifically say special "in-game" character so I believe that is why we are all assuming it must be QuickDraw. There has been speculation though that this figure may actually be a GITD QuickDraw and then later the actual QuickDraw will be released.

Doesn't the bag mention Quickdraw by name? This image you posted looks like it does.

Dark is right. #3 on the bag (which you can barely see in the corner of that photo) reads "See if you've won a free Quickdraw Rattle Shake Skylanders figure playable in Skylanders SWAP Force."

I have no proof, but I would bet that Quickdraw Rattle Shake will get a retail release at some point next year. I also believe that both will be glow in the dark. All undead characters do have some glow in the dark to them. It makes very little sense to produce only 5,000 of these and then have the character be an in-game variant that is needed to complete everything on the 3ds. It also makes little to no sense for Activision to manufacture a glow-in-the-dark version for the Frito Lay promo and a non glow-in-the-dark version for retail. Also, in order for Frito Lay to purchase this character exclusively would cost way too much money. More than likely, the exclusivity of Quickdraw Rattle Shake is timed and we will see his widespread release sometime next year. This is just my honest opinion, but it is based on logic.

It's very unlikely, but here's a thought - the QDRS figure pictured seems to have a different colored snake gun than the one in the game.
It'd be neat if the Frito Figure could be told apart by the different colored gun, with a mass-release of the figure having a "correct" colored gun. This would allow the general population "complete" the collection (and 100% the 3DS title), while still making the Frito Lay award something special. |

I had thrown out the two bags that I bought after taking the picture but now that Dark52 mentioned it, and by zooming in on my own picture you can tell it mentions something about "Quick Draw" on it. My initial thought was that every GITD figure that has ever been released has been a solid white color in appearance. With all this being said is it possible that the Frito-Lay edition of Quick Draw Rattle Shake is "Special" and a retail release of regular Quick Draw Rattle Shake be different the actual basic variant? I think this does make sense based on the need of the figure for 100% completion of the game and at the same time it gives the contest winners something different then what can be had at retail.
