pokemon is the obvious choice. you can get a lot of play time out of that
in my opinion the sonic games on 3DS aren't that great but i don't know, maybe you'd like them.
luigi's mansion is pretty good too

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity

Is this any good? Does it have more similarities with blue rescue team then the ones from 4th gen? Cause I really enjoyed you being able to walk around town as one of the members you recruited instead of just being them in a dungeon. I absolutely hated when a lucario started following an emploleon around in explorers of sky. Also I like friend areas, instead of just a guy at a counter. If they didn't do the things I mentioned in this game I will not get it

Kid Icarus: Uprising is my all-time favorite 3DS game. But Pokemon X/Y is also amazing!

It's okay. I need motivation to go back to it, but once I start playing, I'm playing for a while. xD
As far as I've seen... Kind of. There's a Friend Mode, that lets you play as one of the Pokemon you've recruited instead of your main character, you do get your camp area to wander around in that mode, but you can't access the main town.
Nope, no Friend Areas, still a guy at a counter, though you do get to decorate your Paradise with lots of stuff, and see some of your Team Members hanging around it.
