Could be a big one, or they could be focusing on something else. It'll be up tomorrow probably, Wednesday latest.
Besides, there's no written rule that says they have to update every Monday.

I suppose not but we have grown accustomed to a Monday update followed by a super (sometimes Super) Tuesday

Super Tuesday boost should already be in the game regardless of the Monday update. I'm guessing this may be delayed due to VV releasing Battlegrounds on Android today.
