This will be an ongoing project for me. I aim to make a complete list featuring every skylander, sidekick, variant, magic item, and store game-bonuses, like the ever forgotten UFO target hat. I know there are at least 20 different checklists out there, but i'm a perfectionist. A checklist that includes portals forgets a variant type, a checklist that has sidekicks leaves out Double trouble 1.5. My goal is to help future collectors know what they are missing, even if it the smallest detail. Please help if you would like, and a sticky would always be heart-warming.

I hope you do not see this unneeded, or repetitive. This list will be completed, every game piece and physical attribute of this game shall be included.

To facilitate things, here is a link to my Excel spreadsheet.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/uwl5...s%20List.xlsx?m It lists every figurine and variant, including items, etc and includes images and is colour coded. It has dropdowns so people can use a local copy of it to record which items they have. Please (tactfully) point out any errors or omissions - I generated most of this late at night... Cheers.

Sounds cool! But first tip: LOSE the xlsx format/file extension. Immediately. Never use it unless you NEED a feature that requires the new format. The new format causes problems (same goes for docx in Word). I'm a computer support tech, I've dealt with these problems directly and indirectly many times over the years. Conversely, xls works on all versions of Excel, it's much friendlier. In fact, on computers where I have to use Office 2007 or 2010 - where this format is the default - I change the default back to the classic xls and doc formats, no more issues, no more remembering to change the format every damn time. And what you lose are some advanced things that nobody tends to use anyway (like the limit of 256 columns and 65536 rows being increased, it's rare you need more than this, and when you do you can usually just organize differently and use multiple sheets, which is probably better anyway). This is such an issue that Microsoft even came out with a Compatibility Pack for people (such as myself) who have the sense to stick with Office 2003, the best version of Office to date, to allow it to open xlsx/docx files, and there are STILL problems. Including now, I can't open this file. BTW, when I force the issue, which makes it complain that it doesn't recognize the file format, it also pops an error that this has macros which cannot be disabled. Macros cause people discomfort as they can be risky, I hope they're very necessary, and not sure how you made them un-disable-able (though that might be part of the compatibility problem).

For the record, I am a software developer with well over 20 years of commercial experience. I use that format as it allows for multiple conditional formatting rules on the same cell.
Although Office 2007 may allow that (not sure as it has been some time since I used that version), I have 2010 at my fingertips. Standard xls format does not allow for it (I know as I originally started creating it in Office 2003). Ironically, my current client is the Queensland Police Service and I am helping them in their upgrade from Office 2003 to 365. A key component of that is their existing Word forms all have macros, some of which will no longer function correctly in the later version - hence my skills in the remediation process. And, no, my spreadsheet is macro free so any experience you have with that message is most likely due to the Compatibility Pack. Feel free to downgrade your local copy; just don't expect all of the conditional formatting to remain (indeed, if you put it in to Open Doc format you also lose the dropdowns, for instance). You can't fight progress, man! ;>

Ah, but I am not fighting progress, I am fighting the downgrade of quality.
And damn! Conditional Formatting, the ONLY new feature I've found use for, LOL! Okay, I give. Yes, you are correct, that requires the xlsx format, yes, even in 2007 (2007 and 2010 are largely the same in so many respects, in the file format they're literally the same). It's a shame though. Pre-2007 you can set 3 Conditional Format rules, I don't think 2007 has a limit (though 2010 uses this file format too, it was introduced in 2007, so it's called the 2007 format). And no, I can't downgrade the local version, as I said, I can't open it due to the unfriendly file format.

Sigh...
Apart from the GITD one, is there anything that collectible about them? Happy to take constructive input but reticient to add them to be honest.

Looks great, but you forgot Double Trouble 2.5. This is the one that comes in the Battle Grounds (Non GameStop Version)

Deja vu, man!
I swear you asked that question in another thread? Anyway, apart from the bottom of the base being a different colour it is no different from the SSA one so not variant in my eyes; feel free to add it to a local copy of the spreadsheet if you like. Speaking of which - I have added a fair amount of stuff to the spreadsheet. Please refer to the Doom thread for more detail...

I was just kidding, heh. But to be fair, there are eight different portals. They represent as much of the skylanders universe as a physical toy as a sunburn figure does.
