Amazon reviews are rather low on this one, simply because Activision has implanted in people's minds that in game variants are the norm. Howerver, this one is not. But one if you don't have a regular EB or simply want a figure variant.

That might be the only thing it is good for from a game play point of view. I bought just to have it in the collection. |

It's the only chase variant Skylander I have. He's pretty underwhelming once you put him on the portal though.
If you don't feel the need to have one of every figure, or don't collect the chase variants, I'd say pass. But if you see him for cheap, might as well get him.

Eh, im no chase variant collector and i dont have him yet. But hey, i like expanding my collection just as long as its not really freaking expensive for 1 figure. If you just get figures that appear identical to their figure. Dont get him. If you are a collector and dont mind no in game appearance or just want to try both paths. Consider having him. He's cheaper than most (if not all) "special figs"

To be honest...I say get him. He's light on paint aps and you'll have to look through a few to find one without bits mispainted on the jack-o-lantern, but you know what? It works.
And yeah he still falls under chase variants, even though he's mass produced. At least you can still get this one from retailers instead of fighting online traffic. |

I prefer it to the original in terms of appearence. I don't have the regular though, only Pumpkin. I didn't intend to get Eye Brawl, but figured I should get him for my Undead collection, even then I found out about Pumpkin and waited for that one.
If you already have the normal, then no, it's not worth it.

Yes. I've been trying to get all of the Giants figures. I'm not leveling up variants, though. Those stay in mint condition.

I prefer the melee path just because of the stat boosts. For me, paths with stat boosts are more important, no matter how sucky the path could be.

I think Pumpkin Eye Brawl is pretty cool, and was worth it for me, but I don't own the regular version, so it wasn't a big deal that it wasn't in-game.

Just gave my son the pumpkin eye brawl this afternoon for a halloween present (daughter got Jack Skellington for Infinity). He is 8yr old and was very excited to get it, so for that, I'd say its worth it, regardless how they look in game
