Due to the targeted users not joining, this will be a regular RP by me, which will still have some strickness to it... I'll let you know what if it comes to that.

---------
The RP:

Plot: They call the planet Omega 6(I have like 13 Omegas because they are a part of my book. Each Omega is a life sustaining planet the Human race has found, in numerical order of course), but you call it "Hell". The planet's star leaves the surface hot all day and night. The roads are of dirt, mostly because the indigenous species had no true technology of its own. This planet is currently your tomb, unless you find a way off the burning green rock.

Goal: Follow rules and stay alive. Reach an evac location when I say there is one.

Rules:
1.No God Moding(you are not immortal, you do not posses the power to defeat everything)
2. be descriptive(characters have never been that much of a problem for people without drawn picture of their character)
3. Your character will be heated, exhausted, hungry, and tired. Find resources, but not immediately(ex. Rou found water to drink, or Joe ate something before he left)
4. Sexual scenes are negated from this RP completely. Who has time for a relationship when the heat won't let you sleep in comfort
5. Please do not leave un-announced, or without posted reason
6. Very simple: no script writing
7. You can be any species, animal, or being you wish to use(yes, even ponies)

Character sheets
Name:
Species:
Gender:
Age:
Appearance:
Current Supplies:(more of a barter system with other players)
Specialty:(whether it be weapons, cooking, survival, or speech)
Other:(n/a)

--

Name: Lucien Gray
Species: Golden God Dragon
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Appearance: average body size(ten x four x six(ft.)) White scales cover his main body, while bright yellow cover his chest and stomach. The wing membrane is also a bright yellow, and his horns of a shinier shade. His horns curve back fist, then forward. His spines are similar to Dawn of the Dragon Spyro, only white and yellow. His eyes are crystal blue, and his tail is tipped with a harpoon shaped metal. His alternate form(species related morphing) makes him two to three times his size, boosting speed, strength, and offers a healing effect. Harpoon tail is longer with more ridges with sharper sides. Scales are gold along with the irises of his eyes.
Current Supplies: A sash bag(one strap) with a water pouch and some feast meat(a small amount for a dragon his size)
Specialty: Elements of the realms(ooo, nice title for the Realms series that was supposedly ended a long time ago :D): He only access fire, ice, wind, and shadow unless he is in golden form
Other: I am the GM, so my character must be Over Powered to handle training some new peeps: also, he must not die if you want to leave the heavily forested, scarce populated planet Omega 6

Sure hope people join, it was made to be strict.
So far, Spyro-Gamer and I are the GMs, unless I feel we need another.

ooc: I don't think I really need that much help with my roleplaying, but I suppose there is always room for improvement. I'm happy to learn anything you can teach me. Besides, this looks like fun.

Name: Nadia Pryde

Species: Weretiger

Gender: Female

Age: 25

Appearance: As a weretiger, she has three forms. Human: She stands nearly six feet tall, with a muscular build. Her hair is jet black, and is always kept in a raised ponytail, with an occasional loose strand of hair falling in her face. Her eyes are indigo blue, and she usually has a focused yet half irked expression. She dresses in all black, and wears a tank top underneath her leather jacket that is usually kept zipped up. She also wears leather pants and steel-toed work boots. Her feral tiger form is simply a large, orange Siberian tiger with yellow eyes. Her hybrid, anthro, or halfing form is a large, bipedal tiger. She now stands nearly seven feet tall and appears a little more muscular. She has the head and tail of a tiger. Her body, although not completely human, does appear feminine and has curves. Her hands are large with all five fingers present, except with fur and tiger claws. Her feet are more like tiger paws than human feet.

Current Supplies: Her sword, which she calls the Tiger Sword. It is a double-bladed great sword, which is rather heavy and requires two hands for use for most. However, Nadia can wield it with one hand due to her increased strength. The blade itself has a strip of color down the middle of it that is orange with black stripes. At the base of the blade, the hand guard is black and sort of rectangular, with what looks like fangs on the sides that curve towards the blade. The handle itself is orange with black stripes, and has a tiger head made of stone attached to it at the end, with it's mouth open and ears back. When not using it, she keeps her sword in it's hilt, which she carries on her back. She also carries a black, medium sized, shoulder-strap bag which holds fresh meat and bottled water. She has a decent amount of meat because of a tiger's large appetite. She also carries a small, simple dagger.

Specialty: As a weretiger, she knows how to track prey, hunt it down, and kill it. She is trained in combat and knows how to use her sword. She was pretty much born and raised out in nature, so she has good survival skills. She can cook meat, but not really anything else, and can eat meat raw.

Other: As a weretiger, she does have an increased healing factor, wounds and such heal faster than that of a human, but she is not immortal or indestructible. Cut off limbs would not grow back. She is not weak to silver, just a regular blade or whatever would work fine.

Sounds like a natural born survivor. Accepted.
The RP is for anyone, but is more of a build up for others... I don't think it'll pull the users I am targeting, but if not, I could always make one they could not resist.

Yeah, I realize that. I've been roleplaying here for a while, but I could always learn more. And sometimes it's just good to stay in practice. You might still get your target users, though. But like you said, you could always create a roleplay that would certainly get their attention.

ooc: Thanks, good to see you too!

Name: Valuz "Shard" Narh
Species: Weredirewolf
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Appearance: [User Posted Image]
(Credit to original artist and original character) (Without tribal markings, wearing a plain black T-shirt)
He can shift into a dire wolf, a much, much larger version of the wolves of today, and far more deadly. Shard cannot turn fully human. The best he can do is the appearance shown above. However, he does have a halfling form where Shard turns basically into an anthro dire wolf to be blunt. However, this can only be done under serious amounts of stress and isn't easily done. After coming out of that form, it's pretty painful and he'll have muscle aches for a day or so, strengthening him, but he'll be weak for the moment.
Current Supplies: Dual knives, a toolkit filled with various tools for crafting things in the wild, and a one-edged curved scimitar
Specialty: Skilled both in weaponry and hand-to-hand combat, he is suited for survival in the wild. He is a hunter after all, and a feral animal at times. At one point in his life, he did live in the desert with his people, so Shard can easily adapt to harsh, hot environments. His profession is as a blacksmith, so it may not be useful now, but if he can find raw materials, he can fashion things of use.
Other: Shard may seem like a powerful guy, but in comparison to other werecreatures such as Nadia, he isn't the strongest. What makes him seem so strong is his skill. His skills with pressure points, physics, and skill help him overcome his short-comings in the areas such as strength, speed, and defense. However, as characteristic to all wolves, he has plenty of stamina to spare whether it be fighting, travelling, ect.

ooc: Something I have a little problem with, I don't really think you as a GM need to have an OP, godmoddy character just because you're the GM and you need your character to have invincibility and plot armor.

The native animals cry and howl in the sunny daylight of the second star that itself orbited its partner star. The large green trees of dense forestry, and the bright sands of the dune filled deserts make this planet habitable to extreme measures. The weakest creature that lives here, the dobowa(doh-bow-ah), hunts its predators. With two tails, and four ears, this animal travels in small packs of four to six. The dobowa is not a creature of peace, so your best bet is to stick close, but not too close. The most feared predator of the forestry is the Jackal, standing 13 feet with a strait back, is a territorial being with a heightened sence of smell. Avoiding this monster is nearly impossible, as well as taking it down would require a team effort. A Jackal will travel with up to four of its kind, but tend to fight each other if food is scarce, and it is. A long scrunched face with teeth as long as a branch, hunched over on all four ending with shorter claws that can dig into metal at the right speed and angle. Lets put this into perspective, one jackal is equal to over thirty dobowas.

Lucien had been tracking the dobowas strange behavior recently, they were moving more toward the deserts, away from water sources. They aren't very territorial, but avoiding the resource of life, is not like these animals. The jackals haven't been spotted anywhere near the river the dobowas usually navigate. Being here for over two years, or Omega Six years(equal to two and a half Earth years), he had calculated the native's patterns. This sudden change has to have some sort of reason behind it, and Lucien was determined to find out what. Even if he had to support these hostile beings without being noticed. He kept his focus on one in general, which he named Sarah. She had one missing leg, of six, and was pretty much the leader of her pack. There was a large scare on her right side from surviving a jackal attack. She was tough, and held her own.

While tracking the pack he started picking up scents he hadn't noticed before, hybrids and humanoid structures, "We have some guests in this deserted planet," he said to himself. Flying from branch to branch to keep up with the pack.

Nadia was currently in her feral tiger form, crouching on the other side of a sand dune, that was just big and tall enough to hide her large form. She carefully and quietly peeked around the side of the dune, trying not to clue in any nearby creatures of her presence. As she peeked, she noticed a small group of possibly the strangest thing she had seen. This creature had two tails and four ears. Nadia paused and stared at this creature for a moment. What the devil was it? Was it some kind of deformed animal? An escaped experiment? An alien species? Nadia shook her head. This was no time to be playing scientist. It didn't matter what the creature was so long as it tasted good and provided nutrients she needed to live.

It was now or never. If she was going to survive and eat, then she had to catch something. Making a meal of that little creature shouldn't be too hard, she figured. Nadia unsheathed her claws and hunched her shoulders. Her tail swished back and forth as she emitted a low, quiet growl. Her yellow eyes narrowed on her target and she licked her mouth. Then suddenly, she leaped out from behind the sand dune. She quickly turned towards her targeted prey, and bolted towards it. She growled, showing off her gleaming white fangs. It wouldn't be long until she had her target trapped in her claws.

Name: Hellena
Species: Witch (Fire)
Gender: Female
Age: 41
Appearance: An extremely pale, scrawny woman with chest length, twisted black hair. About six foot tall. Skin blackened in several places, most notably around her eyes. Bright orange eyes.
Generally garbed in a loose, thin, faded dark red cloak with a hood, which is blackened and burned in places. Thick black scarf wrapped around the lower half of her face, only leaving her eyes visible. Wears thick black gloves with orange fingertips. Missing second to last finger on her right hand.
Quite androgynous in appearance, leaving her gender up to debate until she talks or lets her hood down.
Current Supplies: A fire axe, a charred, wooden staff which is typically used as a walking stick, and a half full water flask. The axe and flask are usually strapped to her back.
Specialty: Fire magic of various types, which is generally fuelled by emotion, usually anger. Light on her feet, and profficient with an axe, but is no physical wonder and won't withstand many direct hits. Being a witch, she has some flight capabilities, but rarely takes to the air due to exposure and heat.
Other: Resistant to heat and cold, but susceptible to hunger, thirst and fatigue.
Seemingly in a state of perpetual frustration and anger, with a tendancy to lash out at the slightest provocation. Prefers being alone. Considered somewhat delusional, believing her situation to be just another mercenary job. A known alcoholic, suffering from withdrawal symptons.

Lucien spotted he feral animalistic creature charging for his usual pack of dobowa, "Another predator? Nothing like I've seen," his sight focused closer(like zooming in with binoculars) on the larger tiger, "Intensions are that of feeding... Not on my group," he lunged from the tree that bordered the sends. His claws turned a bright white(light) as his eyes were now gold as to boost his speed. Pulling up just in front of Nadia, "Go no further!" as his paws touched the sand, it creased into a massive wave as the wind picked up to make a shield, "Shoo beast. You will not feed on my pack."

The dobowa all halted and growled behind the sand wall. Their leader was closest without fear, only the need to protect her pack.

Shard's ears flicked. He had awoken on this strange place, found a shallow stream that provided him with some water. Now he heard a sound and cautiously walked toward it. A pack. 5...6 creatures with two tails and four ears. A dragon hovering just over....
Shard's heart dropped stone cold. His mind froze literally on the spot. That tiger....that scent.....the sound. There was no mistaking it. The same planet Shard was also trapped on, also caged the one and only Nadia Pryde.

Shard has had......history with the weretiger. Some good I guess, some bad. There were moments when they had to work together, but never for very long. Shard and Nadia usually went their respective separate paths. And it seems fate deem they cross paths again. Shard unfroze and took a little moment to *ahem* mentally prepare himself for another meeting with the deadly Nadia.

Nadia came to a dead stop as a large figure now suddenly blocked her path. Her yellow eyes glared at the creature that dared stand in her way. She growled at the fool that interrupted her hunt. With her claws still out and ready to slash, her tail twitched violently.

"Beast?! I'm not just a beast, you overgrown lizard! And I don't have time to waste kicking your scaly but so back off! I'm busy here!" She hissed defiantly. She then huffed and simply turned to start making her way around the sand shield that had just been formed. No dragon or amount of sand was going to keep her away from a meal.

Realization dawned on Shard. He smiled as Nadia would keep the dragon busy. He would go in for some meals. Food is always a good way to start off things with someone. Shard began running towards the pack, faster and faster. His speed was beyond human, and suddenly he began to shift. Fur grew. Muscles and bone hardened and bulged. His senses mingled and then sharpened in an instant. Soon, running along the desolate land, was a large dire wolf. Shard knew he was coming downwind, so they wouldn't sense him until he was nearly on top of them. Shard dashed for the leader. The weakest one. The most crippled of them all. However, these creatures were quite small. So he realized he might as well kill two or three of them.

Hellena forced her way through the dense forestry, swearing under her breath in frustration. However, she did start to notice the trees thin out, and the ground getting a sandier quality to it. Deciding that it was a decent place to stop and rest, the cloaked figure made for a fallen tree, already unstrapping the small flask from her back.
Need to find that spring again soon, she thought, almost collapsing onto the log. Almost out...

OOC: Just an FYI, a Dobowa is roughly the size of a Great Dane(a pretty large breed of dog too)

Lucien would not allow the talking tiger to get close to his pack, "You both do clearly do not see that you are not eating this pack," he spun around, shifting sand constantly between the dobowa and Nadia. He had turned to lash out a whip of fire toward Shard, "Back off now!" his voice deepened, "Do not underestimate my power, dog."

The dobowa made circles trying to avoid the moving sand. When the fire lashed out over them toward Shard, the separated for a second, but regrouped near the sand wall. Lucien looked down to see they had huddled, and brought the wall down around them like a cocoon.

OOC2: sorry guys, these dobowa are off limits, kinda being OP here to save them

ooc: That's fine. I won't kill your little group then. But keep in mind that I'm keeping my weretiger in character, and she can be a real pain in the neck sometimes. Just a heads up, expect attitude problems and such.

Nadia growled in frustration. This dragon was really getting on her nerves. She was about to plan an attack against the dragon, when she noticed fire whip past her. At first, she thought he was just being stupid and missed completely. Then she heard the word "dog," and thought for a moment that she had just been insulted.

Then she caught the scent of something, another creature nearby. She turned to where the fire had trailed off to and noticed it was heading straight for a wolf. That wolf both looked and smelled awfully familiar. There was no doubt in her mind who it was. Now she was infuriated. Not only had her hunt been interrupted, but this dragon had just tried to barbecue an ally of her's. Sure, Nadia and Shard weren't exactly the best of friends, but he was of her kind, and compared with the other creatures around here, she would side with him over them any day.

Wanting to rip something apart, Nadia whirled around to face the dragon, quickly shifting to her human form as she did so. Not even a second after she had finished her transformation did she reach for her great sword. Without even pausing, she unsheathed her blade with one hand.

"I've had enough of you! I'll just have to finish you off first!" Nadia roared in anger. She leaped towards the dragon, sword raised to strike. She narrowed her blue eyes, her gaze locked on her target. She aimed her blade for the dragon's neck, ready to slice his head clean off in one swipe, if she were to succeed.

ooc: By the way, I'm not actually trying to kill your character or anything. But I'm not going to change Nadia's personality, so expect her to lash out in anger.

Shard sensed the incoming blow and rolled out of the way just in time. He felt his hair slightly singed. Shard's eyes met Nadia's for a brief moment, and then he understood. Shard drew closer and closer too the pack and suddenly pounced, shifting in mid-air back to his somewhat human form. He drew his two long daggers and danced in a fury of blades against the pack, still mindful of the dragon, but dealing as much damage and get as many kills or wounds in as he could in this brief window of time while the dragon was occupied.

Lucien turned back to Nadia to see she had changed, "What, who are you?" but it was clear she was set to kill. Taking only a defensive stand, his body covered itself in golden scales. His most powerful defense, not even a jackal could pierce his hide(but it can still wound him internally, just not break the skin/scales), "I do not want to be your enemy, and trust me, neither do you."

Nadia, however, did not stop in her attack. She swung her blade with great strength and since the dragon did not dodge or counter the attack, she hit her mark. However, her sword did nothing. The weretiger froze, staring at her blade as it failed to slice clean through the scales. So much for her blade being able to cut through nearly anything. Nadia would have to have a few coarse words with the local blacksmith back home.

The weretiger sighed in disappointment and sheathed her weapon. It was clearly of no use to her now. Still, she was not one to back down and admit defeat. This dragon had crossed a line from her perspective, and she was not going to just let it go.

"Ha! You attacked first! You're the one looking for trouble!" Nadia countered. "I was just minding my own dang business, out hunting to survive, and here you come out of nowhere to ruin everything! Not only have you cost me a meal, but you tried to barbecue an ally of mine! A little news flash for you, that's not how you go about making friends!" She growled.

"I will not stand by as my means of protection is killed out of hunger. The dobowa can sense a jackal, which no other creature can detect. Not even I can pick them up unless they break something. I will not fight you, but I will also not allow you to eat these select few," Lucien retorted, "A fight is not necessary," the golden scales returned to their normal size and color, "As for your little companion, it seemed as if a planned assault on this pack. I defend them more than they defend me. I will only ask you once to hunt elsewhere," he lowered out of the air to stand atop the sand bubble he made to protect the dobowas.

"The what can sense a what now?" Nadia asked in confusion. "Look, I don't care about your freaky little group of whatever the heck you called 'em. I don't even care about that stupid jackal thing you mentioned. I need to hunt to live, so you better not get in my way again. I don't know what an overgrown lizard needs from those freaky little things, or why you even care that they live, but I'm done wasting my time here." She snarled. Nadia then turned to leave, but suddenly turned back around.

"Oh, and for your information, that wolf is not my companion. We rarely cross paths at all, and we're not exactly buddies. I didn't even know he was here until just now, so we weren't working together. It just sorta worked out that way. Although I sure as heck rather hang out with my own kind than some weird, magical lizard any day. If you mess with me again, though, I will not hesitate to kill you. And don't think your hide can save you. Everything has a weakness, and if you get in my way again, I'll find your's." She warned.

Nadia then shapeshifted back into her tiger form. She growled at the dragon with a flick of her tail, before running off. Perhaps she could team up with Shard for now. If she was going to have to deal with dragons and such, it would be nice to have an ally to hunt and fight with. So long as the fighting was with other creatures and not each other.

Pulling the scarf away from her face, Hellena drank deeply from the flask for a few moments.
"Ohhh..." she groaned, wiping a few beads of sweat from her brow. She looked up at the sound of distant yelling, eyes narrowed as she tensed up against the log. A fight may ease her tension, but she didn't have the energy for more than a few fireballs. "Damnit." she muttered, drawing her scarf back up as she sat by attentively.

Lucien puffed out a plume of ice mist from his nose(like a sigh, just with a silvery mist of ice to go with it), "I have a feeling I will run in to her again," he commented before turning to Shard(who is still rather close to him, and the dome shield around the dobowa), "Am I going to have to run you off too, or will you comply and leave on your own terms?"

ooc: Sorry. Didn't read it thoroughly. x-x oiy.

Shard growled at the dragon. "I wonder if dragon meat tastes any good." He said gruffly, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. But he made no move to attack Lucien. "Don't cross paths with me. Or her for that matter. You're better off not." He warned before shifting into a dire wolf and bounding after the direction Nadia went.

Nadia slowed her pace down to a walk, as she was still on the prowl for something to hunt. She gazed across the horizon, sniffing the air, trying to find a trace of something to eat that wasn't being guarded by a dragon. Maybe she could find another group of freaky little creatures to snack on. She wondered if those things even tasted any good.

ooc: Something I have a little problem with, I don't really think you as a GM need to have an OP, godmoddy character just because you're the GM and you need your character to have invincibility and plot armor.

ooc: I actually touched on this subject too.

Quote: SpyroD
OOC: it was mainly for the training style, for the sometimes out of had users, like(I forget his username at the time) guy who uses a triangle shaped character named Bill with pretty much any power he chooses... But since it is no longer a training style RP(which, if asked, I'll put my personal view of your posts/reactions/actions/ideas), Lucien will be a normal character... I just dont/didnt feel like changing it...
oh, and Accepted.

ooc: Still, that being said, and the fact that we could have any character possible this RP I think would get really out of hand later. Mainly because the levels of power between characters are on very different levels. Lucien is from Spyro. Originally, from the RP's FB created. Because of that, he can do all these elemental things and have super–crazy, out of this world human powers and have insane DBZ-like fights, wheras mine and Cy09's characters.
They're both from a "werecreature" RP, so yes they have supernatural powers of increased superhuman abilities, but this one is actually very realistic. It is way more human and realistic than a fantasy-based dragon RP. People can actually die in that RP and cannot come back no matter what, wheras with the dragon one, there's always a loop-hole—always some sort of way we can bring back lost characters (however few they were).
I think this is also a main problem of many "Any Character RP's". Because to make sure the RP runs smoothly without major power differences, you either end up elevating powers to characters that shouldn't have them, or restricting the powers of characters that necessarily shouldn't have. And the other fault with that is when creating the character, you have access to virtually anything you want.

Now, I'm not voicing this to make you shut this RP down. No. I do want this RP to run as long as it can, but this is just something to think about. It's something that I think also needs to be fixed, especially as an example for future RP's and RP'ers. How to do that, well, I'm just voicing the problem. The answer is up to you guys. What will you do to fix these problems? It's just something I've noticed.

—Back to Adventure—

Shard soon saw Nadia within sight, and quickened his pace just enough to catch up side-by-side with her, and then slowed to a walking pace. "Nadia." He looked sharply at her for a few seconds, but discontinued the gaze and looked away in the other direction. "I've found a small stream over there. The water doesn't appear to have anything tainting it. Prey might show up there to drink from it." Shard told her. It was pretty obvious if there's water, even a little bit of it, there's life. "We can talk there." He said, changing his course to where he said the stream was.

ooc: You have good points, shorty. The planet itself could be better explained, but I guess that isn't really up to me. I mean, I'm not in charge here. But it's nice to know what kind of world your character is in and know what to expect. In all honesty, regardless of how hot the world is, Nadia shouldn't be wearing leather at all. I didn't think of that earlier, but she always wears leather, so, meh....

As far as different species if characters go, I don't mind, and actually like an interesting mix of characters. That being said, there are obvious different levels of power. Not much can compare with an almighty 'god dragon,' not even my strong weretiger, hehe. I mean, she literally tried to decapitate him, and instead of having to dodge or something, he was able to make his scales pretty much invulnerable to physical attacks. Now I'm not complaining, per se, because I didn't actually want to kill him. But the fact of the matter is, the scales kind of makes it impossible for Nadia to even have a chance of harming him. I'm all for Nadia having a challenge and all, but that's unnecessary.

But I don't want the RP shut down by any means. Like D-o, I'd like it to be active for a while. But there are things that could be improved.

* Anyway, on to actual plot stuff *

Nadia turned her gaze to the werewolf. She didn't let it show any in her facial expression, but she was somewhat happy to see him. At least there was one familiarity on this planet, an ally she could trust and count on. Perhaps they were not friends, but still, she figured having him around was better than nothing. At least they could keep each other company and work together until they would be able to get back home.

"Sounds good. Lead the way, fluffy." She replied with a small smirk, keeping pace with him.

"Tch." Shard winced a little at the 'nickname' she'd always called him. It usually got on his nerves, but there were better things to do then witty or petty fights. He led Nadia to the small, pitiful stream he had found and had been using. It was in quite a sorry state. The width of the stream was about 3 ft wide and the depth was a only half-a-foot. The depression in the ground because the water ran through somewhat of a ravine suggested that at one time, this stream was much more prosperous. However, not this time. Shard mumbled something about a miserable planet. However, despite his foul mood, he realized that Nadia's presence lightened it greatly. He knew the value of Nadia's assets, and knew that he had a way better chance surviving next to her then probably any other creature. Besides, they were.....acquaintances at best and have worked together in the past. We both know each other's strengths and weaknesses pretty well and can cover for them. We can survive. He thought before turning to Nadia. "Well, here we are..."

Nadia approached the small river and lowered her head to the water's surface. She lapped up some water to quench her thirst. Then she raised her head and looked at Shard. "Hmm. Pitiful little stream. This planet isn't exactly full of life. Still, this water source should attract other creatures." She said casually.

OOC: I appreciate all the information, and it would have been much better if I had an actual computer or laptop, seeing as I do everything from my phone. But yeah, there were a few things I could have added, but then again it's a pain to type so much with my phone. I'll be sure to stir clear of such detail required topics(making) while only on this thing... Anyway, some of my RPs usually stick around the "Common sense" factor(which I need to drop from time to tome, cause some people either don't have full grasp of it, or they don't at all... Most people have it though, so it's kinda natural for me)- animals adapt, so it is mostly too hot for human life, not too hot or increasing temperatures 24/7. I know it has faults, but it was a whole lot of typing to me, a butt ton. I pretty much fell asleep after getting this RP up. So yeah, the details would be a lot better if I had a larger system besides my phone or Nook(actual keyboard).

A branch falls about 13 yards from Hellena, just behind her. A rather tall animal stood on its four legs, short talons, thin red scales, bright green diamond shaped eyes, a pair of horns, and a muzzle that matched that of a alligator(proportionally). It hadn't made a noise while following her 'til now. A low growl rumbled from it's darker chest and stomach.
--
Lucien sighed heavily again letting the sand spin away and un shield the animals inside. He flew up quickly to avoid conflict with his "friends". The dobowa were ready to run off though. They all sprinted out toward the sand hills, away from the jungle-like forestry. Lucien was confused and worried, "A jackal is near. That is the real reason the huddled away from the trees," he looked out toward the tall greens, not able to spot the danger the dobowa were running from. It's out there and its got to be close. he started for the dunes, following the dobowa he had trailed for a long while.

"That's what I'm hoping for." Shard sighed dejectedly. "All we have to do is wait and survive until that happens. He casually shifted back into his almost-human form and sat down by the stream, lost in thought.

Nadia shifted to her human form as well, and laid down flat on her back, with her hands behind her head. She stared off into space as she gave a deep sigh. "Waiting is so boring, though. Hunting would be more fun. I mean, who knows how long it will take for prey to even show up? And I don't exactly have anything to do while we wait." She muttered. She then groaned, clearly already miserable with the idea of being idle. "I hope something shows up soon, even if it isn't exactly edible. Heck, just a fight to blow off some steam would be nice."

Shard scoffed. "Always lookin' for a fight, eh?" He sighed. "Well, I would indulge you, but I'm afraid of scaring off what little prey might come if we did." Shard stood up, his tail brushing over Nadia unintentionally as he walked along the edge of the tiny stream. "If you're that bored, why don't we find the source of this precious water? It's better than waiting." Shard turned around brushing himself off and then holding out a hand for Nadia.

"We could probably just as easily scare off the prey by doing nothing." She joked a bit, as from her experience, a lot of things were scared of her, or at least intimidated. "But I suppose anything's better than sitting here." Nadia sighed. She sat up and noticed Shard hold out his hand. "I can get up on my own. I ain't crippled." She huffed, and proceeded to hop up, eager for something to do. "So let's go find this water source. Maybe we'll find something interesting while we're at it. I'm actually curious to see one of those jackal things the overgrown lizard mentioned."

"Tch." Shard pulled his hand away and folded it into his pockets, already starting to walk upstream. "Jackals would have little meat on them. Skinny, high-pitched squeaky canines that don't do anything but vocalize their stupidity. Well, if we're talking about the ones from Earth." He shrugged. Darn, I am pretty hungry. Haven't eaten since yesterday, and I haven't really done survival stuff in awhile. Man, I miss home food. He inwardly groaned. Shard sighed. "So how'd you end up here?"

Lucien flew up over the sand dune the dobowa had ran over to find a small oasis, almost dry, but still usable. They each took drinks, even for a hostile being, they shared. The leader allowed her pack to go first, taking a watch position. She did not make them run or get excited at the sight of Lucien flying overhead for she had seen him multiple times, which she found him no longer a threat. Finishing with their break, most of the dobowa left. Only one stayed near it, digging at the sand. Lucien flew down some closer to see what it was he was after. Using his golden sight, he could see what the dobowas was after. He could not believe what they had found. Using a quick earth moving wave, the object under the surface was visible. "This... This is impossible. This shouldn't be here. They shouldn't be here," he raised a metallic panel out of the sand. Scuffed and rusted, but the letters were legible, Legacy. The dobowas bit the edge a few times, but it sniffed it and ran off back toward the pack.

"I don't think they're the same jackals. The dragon mentioned something about those freaky creatures he was protecting being the only ones that can sense a jackal. I dunno, he just made it sound more dangerous than your average jackal. Still, I doubt they're that tough. Probably wouldn't even be worth eating." Nadia scoffed. She then sighed at Shard's question.

"I honestly don't have a clue. I just remember waking up here. I smelled something weird, and since I was hungry, I followed the scent. Then I found those freaky things and that stupid dragon. If it weren't for him, I'd be eating by now. Anyway, that's about all I can remember, which is kind of strange. Usually, I only have memory lapses when I shift into my halfling form. But if that were the case, I'd be feeling kinda weak right now, and I don't." Nadia then shrugged.

"You're probably right." Shard frowned. "Strange, so did I. Except for the fact I woke up and sort of followed my instincts to water." He shook his head. "This place is so desolate. And I don't think I've seen any creatures like those....things the dragon was protecting back on earth. Are we even on Earth?" He frowned. Inter-dimensional space travel. Nope. Didn't really study that in training. ......Crap. I already miss trees. And shade. Shard let out a noticeable sigh and kept walking.
