Here to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Lost Islands hitting the app store, Birthday Bash will ride his balloons all over your Kingdom. Congratulations to Advisor_Orville and the rest of the team over at Vicarious Visions for giving us a reason to celebrate and for making it to a full year in the dog-eat-dog world of iOS titles. Here's to many more years!

Yehey.. Just got him today together with a couple of fisheries, shrines and tree rex house in the wishing well..

It took me about 200 wish stones though as it maxed out the luck meter, all worth it.

I set my time to tommorow and everything got counted as tomorrow and I got to collect everything early. Is Activision going to ban me or something?

They have never banned the Tardis.

I guess I'm lucky to be in a timezone that greets the next day ahead of some.

I'm so glad this one's an Earth element. I don't get an island until I have at least two Skylanders of that island's element 'cause I'm OCD like that, and the last two elements I only have one of is Tech and Earth. C'mon Birthday Bash, party in the islands~

I thought he should be Air, just for fun. Took me 188 stones, got Birthday Bash, one cocoa stand, one tavern, 4 top gold prizes, and the usual drek.

I took 180 husband took just 24.

I'm starting to think that wishing well doesn't have random prizes, What a coincidence !! I have spent exactly the same stones and exactly I have obtained the same: 4 of 100,000 coins, one cocoa, 1 tavern, and then the usual small prizes.
Something fishy here !!!

I got a bed and breakfast this time around.

It almost always take me 180 stones to get the alter ego - although I did get Skeletal Cyder with just 18.

This time, instead of multiple fisheries and taverns, I got 2 bed and breakfasts and 3 top gold prizes.

Finally, my luck was really good! I only threw 180 stones before getting Bash, but also got two B&B's, a fishery, a tavern, and four $100k prizes. It was a good day!

As usual, it took me more stones than the average around here--211. But I did get 2 fisheries, 2 100,000 coin prizes and my very first Bed & Breakfast, which I'm almost more psyched about than Birthday Bash.

Took me about 150 stones to get Birthday Boy, got a couple fisheries, a tavern and a few 100,000 coin prizes. Then threw in about 500 more stones (thanks to a visiting encounter with Ma-Boo for the extra stones) and got my first B&B as well as a radiant energy field and a life shrine and several more coin prizes and fisheries (my islands are starting to smell a little - thank goodness for all the taverns!).

No it wont however if you play while connected to activate most of the time it will not allow you to play until you fix your time. If you are playing offline then you can do whatever you want. Just make sure you realize if you travel in the future and tap the exp from a house the timer starts from the current time settings you have......meaning if you tap it and then go back to the present you will not only have to wait the original time to get the exp but the time you traveled from the real date is added to it as well. For example, you travel 3 days in the future, hit the B&B. Well now it says two hours till the next exp can be tapped, however once you travel back to the original time it will add 72 hrs to that timer.

If this ever happens the only way to fix it from what I've seen is to travel in the future again, this time DON'T collect the exp while being in the future. Just make sure the exp is sitting available. Then travel back to the present and collect the exp. Once that happens the timer will take the correct time. A lot of people get confused with this but if you mess up this is the only way I know how to fix it. I've seen a lot of people give up on the game because they had a timer of 700 hrs on adventures but it can all be fixed ( of course if you didn't time travel you wouldn't have to worry about it).

Here's my haul:

30 stones: Chompy Snowman (my first, actually)
128 stones: 60,000
134 stones: Cocoa Stand
150 stones: 60,000
152 stones: Chompy Snowman
171 stones: 60,000
174 stones: Birthday Bash

I still have 570 stones. Debating on throwing some more in to see what I can get. I usually don't like throwing them in after the alter ego, as I'm under the theory that it doesn't give you top prizes as much. But I could be wrong. I only have 3 Legendaries, for now, and already have 1 Hall of Legends. So I could use 400 towards the other 2 Halls and still have 170 left. What do you all think? Should I throw some in or save them for next month? I'm starting to get 700+ a month, now, and don't see a need for Halls. I keep hoping they introduce something else to buy with them.

After winning B-Bash I bought 2 Halls of Legends and still had 127 stones left. I threw them in and got one tavern and nothing else but junk, which is even worse luck than usual for me. At least I didn't walk away completely empty handed. I figured this was the month to shoot for another B&B/fishery/tavern since by next month I'll have reached Level 40 and those things will be worth little (at least until they raise the level cap yet again).

I wonder if the devs even though the game would still be going strong a year later.

I got BB after 57 stones. I also got one Easter basket and one tavern. I'll probably throw a few more in as I really want a Bed and Breakfast.

My first really cool thing since starting the game, I got Birthday Bash with 124 wishstones
(Also got a chompy gift shop, so cute!)

It took me a whopping 176 Wishin' Stones this month as opposed to the ~30 it took me last month. I won 4 top prizes and they're not worth listing. I did earn a ton of Wishin' Stones last month. I spent nearly 1000 and came out of the month with just about as many stones as I started the month with (around 500).

I MUST make this custom!

What makes you say that?

If you accidentally tap on something in the future, when you change your date back drop it in your inventory, place it back in your game and hey presto!

Only works if you have room in your inventory of course.

I only know this by helping others of course.

This trick won't work if you have put a Skylander on a balloon or a house

Alter Ego data isn't pushed out until the Monday before the 1st of the month. In this case that would be November 25th. If you travel forward now you'll find yourself in a dystopian future with an empty and confused Wishin' Well.

To all time travellers, beware the Winged Sapphire Effect!

First quest for this alter ego: put 10 baloons, that's 18,000 gold. No matter if you already have them or if they are in your inventory or you win them in the well, you must purchase them in order to pass the quest.
That is a bug and should be fixed.

I don't know if it's really a bug or miswording. It's always been that way with quests. I used to save stuff like that in my inventory for the quests until I realized it didn't work. Using the word "place" should include those in inventory that you move onto your island. But apparently it doesn't. If it says "have" (which I haven't seen in a while), then the items you already have placed will work. But, so far, if it says "place", then you have to buy them.

Took me only 119 Stones. Not bad at all.

Got Birthday Bash in in about 150 stones this time, along with 5x 60K gold prices, an undeath shrine and a tavern.
Not too bad this time around.

My son got him in around 40. Least ever for him.
