I think its simple,

• hes a hard boss and you battle him multiple times
  
• he dies from Spyro or cynders really powerful attack
  

Hes completely evil so I dont think he'll just turn to good all a sudden

Dead. He die. If he becomes good I will throw a fit D< It would just be recycling Cynder's plot. I think Spyro and Cynder should do a double fury to finish him off, because in the last two games you defeat the final boss with a fury attack.

I think when you defeat him. He later will lose balance, and fall into the volcano filled with lava and burn to death.

Hmmm, I think he'll die. If they make him good, that'd be lame. And you'll probably have to fight him multiple times in different places. The only game I have that doesn't make you fight the last boss in multiple battles is TEN.

Strangely, on just about every game, the last boss isn't the hardest boss in the game. Skabb was much harder than Gaul, and I thought that Steam was WAYYYYYY harder than Cynder, by a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOng shot

I would expect something where they both are lifted up into the air (Sort of like one Dragon) and create a light fury that will rid the world of Malefor and evil.

Hmm..I don't know about the elders, but the idea of Spyro and Cynder combining furies for a large blow seems within reason.
