I have been lurking the forum and I have seen some post where people are talking about them have a buy 1 get 1 40% off, now I have only seen the add that takes 20% off one item and not the order. has anyone confirmed the buy 1 get 1 40% off yet that for sure tru will be doing it.

I had my doubts, too, but there have been legit images floating around that show the upcoming Toys R Us weekly ad/circular that show But One Get One 40% off ... not just for Skylanders, but for all video games, this week at Toys R Us.

yea I seen the gill grunt thing but I plan on getting the singles tonight at walmart then to target to get nitro tomorrow and then hitting the 2 tru by me to get the adventure pack and the forge pack with the b1g1 then go to the other one and get the 2 legendries then gamestop to pick up my dark edition.

They did a similar promo for Spryo's Adventure (although it was for a generic coupon, not a specific figure) and supposedly everything counted - however, I know at least the strategy guide did not count towards the total.

Yes. It will apply both percents off to the lowest cost item. One thing to note is if you try to return an item they are only going to give you the discount price, not the full price of the other item. If you are going to be buying the game, the best combo is the 20% off with the $10.00 off coupon, no BOGO. So buy the game seperate from your character purchases.

Yes, you can. I confirmed this with Toys R Us by phone and by live chat yesterday.

However, despite what you might hear elsewhere, one can not "stack" Toys R Us' "price match" policy with other in-store advertised promotions, or coupons. Essentially, the "price match" policy is only useful (for Skylanders) during weeks when TRU is NOT running any advertised sales/discounts. In those instances, the "price match" basically functions as a $1-$2 off coupon ... but again, that only works if you were about to pay TRU's full normal retail price for the item (before the "price match").

This is true. You only get to choose one or the other at any time. You choose the price match price, or the sale. But cant have both.

TRU had two swappers for 22.
then target had buy 0ne 14.99 get the second half off.
I got walmart to price match these, after trying several sales people....

edit I see TRU has stopped that deal..you have to keep watching...
