Oh I heard this song on the radio. Idk, I may need to listen to it again.
When I heard it on the radio, the interviewed the singer before playing it and she said it's about how we have this image of this popstar lifestyle and that's not really what it's like. Or something like that.
Possibly the reason it is being viewed as racist *raises flame shield* is because it's more prone for rappers to sing about having money, girls, and getting drunk along with all the other things she's singing about and it's being viewed as she is talking of the stereotypical rapper or pimp who will have the fancy yet gaudy jewlery, possibly that bad fur coat in an ugly color, and all that wonderful stuff.
Though it's more meant of how we think of the typical rockstar who will go around trashing hotel rooms, throwing wild parties filled with drugs, booze, and sex, when in reality, it's not all that "glamorous" and we treat these stars as royalty when they aren't.
