OK, so this week's Monday update includes Barkley and a Scouts HQ (presumably the same as the Cadettes HQ). Still no sign of Skeleton Cynder's house, though. There is a timed quest for Batterson with a radiant energy field reward and one for the HQs with a shrine reward.

Shrine Reward sounds cool, shame the HQ's are the single worst 200 gems you'll ever spend! but, if you can get a free shrine, maybe worth it! Cynders house would be the dragon lair.

I was already in for a pinch with the Cadette's HQ so I went for the full pound and bought the Scout's HQ to get the Magic Shrine.

And the Batterson quest for a radiant field, I'd love to see anyone who can visit more than 1 or 2 people..... fix the game first eh

I won't be trying this quest anytime soon. To many people loosing their progress with crashes to chance it for a radiant field.

The question is whether the Scout and Cadette HQs are worth 125 gems per house (assuming the other 150 to get to 400 is the value of the magic shrine). Just how bad are the payouts? Is it like 10,000 gold or is it less? If its an occasional 1-2 gems (as opposed to 3-5) I'm not sure that's so bad...

A lot less than 10,000 but I've forgotten the amounts its paid out. I don't think I've ever seen a Gem payout from Cadette's HQ past the first time you collect from it.

Argh! Not sure if I should pull the trigger here. How often do they pay out? Is it shorter than the other houses?

That doesn't seem awesome or worth it. Would you mind reporting your next payouts? Much appreciate the insight. Glad you're paving the way!

I've collected a lot from the new cadet house and its rare to get a gem and when u do its usually one, two being the big payout (at least to me, I have two of them). The gold is horrible, using ningenie one a magic day with 4 shrines, payouts were still only 10k or around there. It's only worth it to get the free shrine imo

Oh and Flynn is back from vacation it appears.

With the promise of day one availability of the Swap Force characters, has anyone travelled to Sunday to check yet?

My payouts are typically in the 7k gold range. Keep in mind this is an energyless mission. 7k gold for 4 hours isn't really all that bad.

The idea of spending 200 gems buying Batterson in exchange for getting a radiant field, must be a joke.
I love visiting the kingdoms, I always did it before Kudos systems if I had time, but now anybody risks .... (I almost lost the game by 2 times)
Will The developers haven't realized the problems that the most players are having? They act as if nothing was happening ....

I think the scouts HQ is not very good investment, because I have got Cadettes HQ, and bonuses are pretty bad. In fact, at the time I was regretting having bought it.
But now I worth spending 200 gems and I'll have an altar of magic is worth 300. At least it makes up a little business .....

Batterson will be half price next tuesday, and Flynn, Cali, Ol'Mac and Arbo will be 30% off later in the week.

He also can travel to Tree Rex's Tree Fort.

Another minor change, presumably from this update, is the maximum simultaneous number of elemental totems has increased. I have now had five at the same time. Interestingly, one of them was only one block tall.

How come my son's game hasn't gotten the monday update yet? We're East Coast US, btw.

I actually noticed that I had 3, this morning, before the update. I had to double check to make sure I somehow didn't get Cherry.

Another change it seems, was my Scouts HQ had a first payment of 4 gems, not sure if the HQ's have been buffed a little

Have you tried force closing the app and reopening it? That will cause the game to reload and pull in any update.

Super Tuesday (and it seems most daily promos/sales) seems to be in previous updates. I've jumped ahead a week in advance to see Super Tuesday once. So it would make sense that he has Super Tuesday and not the update.
