Rider and Fright, or Fright Rider and Ozzy [CLOSED]

I noticed that in the updated Sticker Book and the Annual 2014 that they changed Fright's name to Ozzy, and Rider's name to Fright Rider.

I contacted Cavan Scott, the author of the official novels and Skylander Annuals about the unusual name change, and he said that they were asked to change Fright's name to 'Ozzy' and Rider (the elf rider) to 'Fright Rider'.

I like Fright Rider better, with the ostritch named Fright and the elven rider, 'Rider'.

IDK, calling them Fright and Rider had a nice synergy to it, and it seems like a precursor to Swap Force (since that's how the Swapper names go, combine Hoot Loop's top with Magna Charge's bottom to get Hoot Charge)...

Maybe that's why the change, to separate from the Swappers, and to un-imply that you can swap Fright Rider?

I always thought his ostrich was ozzy because when you gave fright rider a nick name he said it's great but he isn't sure if ozzy feels the same about it though.

i call the ostrich for ozzy and keep calling the guy Fright Rider. i think that is best.

how about the book: Gill Grunt and the curse of the fish master, Fright/Ozzy and Rider where mentioned in that book

All the books published before the Annual 2014 and Sticker Book have the old names of Fright Rider.

They may keep the official game backstory the same, but yes it would cause confuse if future books say that Fright is called 'Ozzy' while Rider is called 'Fright Rider'.
