So let me make sure I got this right about Valve's new console; [CLOSED]

so, the Steam Machine is their new console. it runs on an operating system, much like xbox live and PSN, called SteamOS, which will also be available to download on PCs. the Steam Machine will need the Steam Controller as its controller as well.

Did I get all this right? and if I did, does that mean the Steam Machine will be getting PC based games, or its own games?

Close, the SteamOS is based off Linux, and will only run at least a hundred of the games available on Steam.

Which explains why Valve was spending so much time working with Ubuntu.
