how come the USA gets new games first [CLOSED]

it is so unfair why don't they just make it come out in both places at the same time.

Well, the Spyro series was created in America, then they have to edit the language to the right country for the game, then release them.

I find it kind of annoying. In fact VERY annoying. I can't imagine how the people in Australia feel like. It should come out in Europe, America and Australia at the same time. It's only fair.
And what also annoys me, even though it was made in the US, they always put American spellings on everything!! (I MEAN NO OFFENSE) But it annoys quite a bit. More than quite a bit.

Hey, there's no reason to be mad at us Americans just because we get it first. And it seems that America gets EVERYTHING first. Except Japan. They get anime and manga first, 'cause it's made there.

The harvest moon series gets all those games first, so we don't get everything here first, just what we make. And since we make alot of games it seems like we get all of them first. But yeah they should have several teams in the country working on them at the same time so they come out.

There is most likely a larger marketing scale here in America, but I don't see why they have to release it in the other countries so much later. Shipping would be my guess.

Because Sierra is an American video game company. Why do you think Japan gets all of the Mario/Link/Kirby/etc. before anyone else? Cause the companies in charge of producing the game are Japanese.

Although to be fair, EU states should get it sooner since Estranges Libellules is a French company. >______>

I KNOW!!! So unfair how we have to wait until Japan decides they want to share stuff with us. Darn Square Enix -.- They should make both games come out at the same time. But, you know, in the case of the games i play, they release it in Japan first, see what the people do and don't like, then make the U.S. version off of that, and do the same, and then they make an even better Japan only version with extra levels and stuff.

i agree. it's nobodys fault its just that maybe they should bring them all out at the same time. coz then when DotD comes out everyone will be talking about it and saying stuff that will spoil it for the english. no offence to anyone but ppl will be talking about the levels in it so i won't be able to be here on DotD forums coz it will be packed with americans sayign stuff about the game...

Actualy I discovered that the first 3 Spyro games came out in Europe beofre America because they were made in Europe because they were only on the PS1 which is European. So basicly the thing about getting it forst because it was made there is true, but its still realy unfare! (One thing that was strange was that Spore was released in the UK before the US?)
