Does anyone have knowledge, or thoughts, of what will happen to Lost Islands once Swap Force gets released?

Will we:
* Get a SLEW of new characters, and I assume a few more levels?
* Will they release a new complete game?

Part of me is scared they are going to release a new game because Flynn 'went away to prepare for the arrival of the Swap Force Characters' (their words in the game)

There was an interview that the guy said all the swapforce guys would be coming to lost islands.

I'm so glad to hear about that interview! I'm considering getting Ol' Mac today, but even at 1000 gems that's still a lot for me to spend. Knowing they don't plan to abandon the app helps. I hope they add a few more islands as mine are very crowded.

With the onslaught of new characters that leaves room for new houses, buildings, maybe even the volcano (to act like a sanctuary for Swappable characters) that caused the swappers to be what they are today! I feel like they would have to give us some more islands to put just... things! They'll more than likely be releasing new decorations and whatnot. :> I would certainly like to see more levels, more islands, and some new companions to raise the level cap on our skylanders! I'm reaching that point where they're all almost level 12 already...

Unfortunately, between our E3 and Gamescom interviews with him that's all we could get him to reveal about the future of Lost Islands and SWAP Force.

Great interview! Good to get definitive confirmation on the Swap Force characters. It will be fun to see what other innovations come to the Lost Islands next month.

Do we know how many new characters might come to Lost Islands?

I finally just finished collecting all the characters minus the new sidekicks but I ordered those 2.5 weeks ago. I'd love to invest some gold in houses and make some room.

I wonder if I should save up gold to spin for the new characters or just buy those houses and worry about swap force later?
