Music was the essence of society. It came in many genres, each attracting a different crowd, each having unique music hated by some, loved by others. Music was what brought people together, the common love of a genre, an artist, or a song. No one can imagine what a world without music would be like. Unfortunately, they don't need to imagine it. It happens. Music is forcefully token from society. Musical instruments went still, no noise emitting from them. The tone in peoples voices becomes unbearable when they try to sing, a terrible noise coming from their mouth. Singing was crossed out as well because of this. Like a miracle, some people learn of places where the genre is seemingly "locked up" and to access that music again, you must first unlock the lock on the music. Fortunately, their seemed to be only ten genres you needed to unlock to restore the wonderful that is music. You agree to travel with others on the search for these places, to bring back what the world craves.

History: Was part of a travelling dance crew, yet was rather uncooperative. As a result when the music was taken her co-workers volunteered her to go help bring it back in hopes of it teaching her some discipline. Neru made sure to flip them all off once they left her there.

Personality: Blake is extremely shy of other people, tending to stay away and avoided contact with others. He really is kind though, caring about everything around him. Music was something that he loved, the thing that connected him to the world. Now, how dubstep helped connect him to the world, I don't have a clue.
History: Blake was born mute, never beginning able to talk to otherts, never making a deep connection with anyone. Kid's in school teased and picked on for him not being able to talk. He had nothing worth living for, his parents having had abandoned him when he was young, hoping he would die. He then heard a dubstep song. Now, you might think that dubstep wouldn't be the most inspirational music, but he did make a connection. Most of them had no human voices speaking, which made him feel good. He later met a Dj named, ironically, DJ. He was devastated when music was taken, almost losing himself. DJ convinced him to go and help bring it back.

Personality: Chrisy is the normal overly cheerful and peppy person. She is the biggest fan girl of The Hunger Games and The Legend of Korra. She is totally mainstream and loves everything pop. She gossips and as that high pitched tone when she gets excited. She often freaks out when something happens with something she loves, like when she learned The Legend of Korra was coming out with a 2nd season, she spazed out and jumped around and squealed for days.
History: Chisy was born to a giving family, getting everything she needed and wanted. She wasn't spoiled rotten, no, more like her brain got spoiled. Many believe her real hair color is a very pure blonde. She loved her music and everyone around her, not being able to hurt anything or anybody. She used to be part of an All Star until the music stopped. Her whole team was disheartened, many quitting or leaving the city. She didn't and made it her goal to bring back the music they all loved.

We are starting in a meadow, birds silent, wind dead. It contains no flowers, and short grass. Basically just a clearing. We have a map, the 8 places marked. So, we are starting for the first one, pop. AND YALL STILL HAVEN'T GIVEN ME ANY SUGGESTIONS!

Blake was perched in a tree, studying and eyeing the path they were going to take on the way to the place of imprisonment of the Pop music. It was the closet place, but still looked dangerous. A creeping feeling crawled into him. The eeriness of no sound put his senses on high alert. He about almost fell out of the tree when he heard an annoying high pitched voice.

Chrisy was seemingly uncaring to her surroundings. "I CAME IN LIKE A WRECKING BALL" She sang, in her voice that made birds explode.

OOC: We added Orchestral and Trance from the original list. >.> How about Nightcore, J-Pop, Reggae, and Gospel?

Seiki was sitting off to the side, playing with the keytar he kept wiht him at all times. Thoguh it made no actual sound, he still fiddled around with it.

Neru was lying back on the grass with her eyes closed and headphones over her ears, despite the fact that they weren't on. Gumi came up and sat beside her, leaning back to relax. Neru made sure to pretend she wasn't there, still upset at her and the other two for forcing her into this. "At least Gumi had the deceny to come back and help. If I survive this, Teto and Miku are gonna get it." Neru thought.

Ooc: Yep, Putting Nightcore...wait...is that even a style?

Blake glared at Chrisy from the darkness of the foliage. He wanted nothing more than to scream for her to shut up. He turned on his music, making sure to drown out the annoying voice. He sighed as Bangerang came on.

Chrisy finished "wrecking Ball" And decided to sing another song, much to the dismay of others around her. "CUZ EVERYTIME WE TOUCH, I GET THIS FEELING" she basically screamed. You would swear that you heard a bird explode in the distance.

OOC: I think it's more of a remix type than an actual genre, but I could be wrong.... But what's wrong with Orchestra type music? >.>
Also how can Blake turn music on on his headphones if there is no music???

Unable to drown out the noise with any music through her headphones, Neru was getting annoyed at Chrisy's attempt at singing. She opened her eyes and sat up, turning to look at Chrisy.
"Shut the **** up! There's no music in the world, that means you can't sing! No one can! Now quit your annoying shrieking or I'll make you!" Neru shouted.

OOC: I thought there was no music! Shouldn't that mean no singing, no playing music, no listening to mp3s, no humming a tune, no making anything musical of any kind? Because if we can still like play CDs and stuff like that, my characters don't necessarily care and this doesn't matter to them.

I'd like an answer to this, before I continue.

Oic: well... I was sleepy ok. Now i have to go to school urg

OOC: So then we can't do that stuff, right?

Neru stood up, her rest horoughly interrupted. "So, are we just going to sit around here all day or are we going to do something?" she asked impateitly.

ooc: No...sorry

Blake was becoming more and more restless. He needed, craved, the music that kept him sane. He was slowly losing his mind, the quietness creeping into his mind.

OOC: Good, just wanted to make sure. ^.^

"Whatever. I'm just going." Neru said. She started walking in the direction of the place where Pop music was stored. Gumi stood up and ran after her.
"Neru! What are you doing?! You can't do this alone." Gumi pleaded.
"I don't care. Sitting around like this is getting boring." She kept walking.
"Fine, then I guess I'm coming with you." Gumi said.

ooc: Im having Blake become less shy...and you can say song lyrics, just not sing em

Blake jumped from the tree he was perched on, landing in front of Neru. He turned around and shook his finger. He the pointed towards the forest as he lifted up the map, and then pointed towards the direction they were going. On the map, Pop was stored deep in the forest. In the forest, it depicted huge monsters and beasts with wicked claws and snarling faces showing their deadly teeth, droll dripping down their chins. He took a branch from close by, and etched the word "Plan" into a small patch of dirt.

Chisy was walking around in circles, repeating song lyrics, but unable to sing them.

OOC: I was gonna do that anyway. XP

"Here's your plan, march in, kick their butts, unlock the thingy holding Pop, and move on to the next thing." Neru said.
"I rather agree. Though take our time,and keep our eyes out. We don't know our enemy and sitting around here won't give us any more information about them." Seiki said, standing up and walking over and joining them.

ooc: Im introducing a char later on.

Blake shook his head. The idea was stupid and suicide to him. He erased the word in the dirt, and drew a picture of a small shrine type thingy. He then placed Xs all around it, the Xs being enemies and things that wish to eat them.
Chrisy had excited her make up pop world and joined them. "OOHH!!! Is this like a game of football?" she asked generally.

"That's why we sneak through the trees and spy on them. Learn weaknesses to beat or ways to sneak past them." Seiki said.
"Face it dude, we're going wheter you like it or not." Neru stated.

Blake made somewhat of a sighing noise. He looked towards the forest, surveying the arena again. He looked back at them and nodded and mouthed the words "I'm coming with you then." He thought doing something was better than nothing. He slung his sheath across his back and grabbed his bow.
Chrisy saw Blake getting ready. "OH OH!! Can I come with you!??!" she said excitedly. Blake rolled his eyes and nodded, causing her to begin to squeal and jump up and down.

Seiki made sure hsi keytar was safely strapped to his back then followed along. Despite the fact that Blake had the map, Neru led the group into the forest. Gumi walking along closely behind with a bit of a spring in her step as if she is slightly skipping to a beat.

Blake trailed behind Neru. He was looking at the map intensely. He saw that once they got to the Pop "Shrine," they would be closer to the place where Indie was.

Seiki kept watch, looking about carefully as they proceeded into the forest; watching for danger.

ooc: This song is going to haunt me, I swear

Blake suddenly lifted his head up, and put his hand up to signal them to stop. He rolled the map up and put it in his pocket and began to look into the surrounding woods. It had been faint, but he heard it.
Chrisy was tense, watching him. She tipped toed up to him, and whispered. "Why did we stop, are there Dautry fans here?" She asked, scared.

Neru shot an annoyed glance at Chrisy's apparent stupidity. "It wouldn't be a total loss if we lost her along the way." Neru thought.
Seiki looked around, knowing that something was near. Gumi simply looked at the others' waiting for some sign from them to know what to do.

Blake was in the middle of shushing her when he heard a twig snap. He took his bow and loaded it before you could blink, aiming it in the direction of the sound. He peered into the darkness, faintly seeing a pair of yellow eyes. He let go of the string, the arrow whirling towards the object. A small thud was heard, as with a yelping. Suddenly, the woods around them became alive with roars, howls, hisses, twigs snapping, leaves crunching, and growling. He quickly loaded up again and looked around him.
Chrisy put her pom poms up to her eyes, and squealed.

"Seems we've walked right into the lion's den." Seiki said, he drew his sword.
Neru readied her chakrams and twirled them in her hands. Gumi took out a cloth and tied it over her eyes. She put her hands in her pockets and kicked up a little dirt.
"I think I'll go Twister, how about you?" Gumi asked.
"I'll be doing Don't Stop the Music." Neru replied.
"I'm not suprised." Gumi smiled.

Blake looked at them questioningly, but went back to firing off arrows. He usually hit his mark, but some were quick and dodged them.

OOC: My characters are more close range, I'm waiting for the monsters to come out of hiding. XP

The beats came closer, teeth bared and claws extended. Some jumped down from the trees while others came from the shadows of the forest.

"Alright, let's get it started." Neru said.
Gumi started tapping her feet as if following a beat. Before long, her whole body was moving to the beat of the song that wasn't playing.
"Brain ware, main wave. Psycho got a high kick. Collect and select, show me your best set." Gumi stated. She swung her leg around kicking an enemy in the face as the spoke the lyrics."Crystals, blisters, it's all over now, psycho cane, you're so keen, I need more candy canes." She perfromed a flip landing with an outstetched leg slamming down on a monster's skull. "Cold cake, cold break, freak got a high kick. Mr. Twister, moist with roistering." She flipped down to be standing on her hands. Gumi spun herself around with her legs outstretched, kicking anyone in her way.

"Please don't stop the music. Please don't stop the music. Please don't stop the music." Neru said moving her head to the beat of the song, twirling her chakrams in time. "It's getting late. I'm making my way over to my favorite place." She walked forward, moving her body about in time to the rhythm and swinging her arms in a way as if she is dancing. As she moved, her chakrams sliced a few fo the monsters. "I gotta get my body moving, shake the stress away." She shook her body about and tossed her chakrams at a couple of her opponents.

ooc: Well then....and Im listening to Simple and Clean constantly now O_<

Chirsy stared at them with a mix of awe and confusion. "Uhh..what just happened.." she said. Suddenly, a beast jumped from a tree, hurdling straight for her. It's jaw was wide open, droll dripping down it's chin. As it neared Chrisy, she screamed and slammed it's head with her pom poms. "EWWW!!! GET AWAY! GET AWAY!!" she screeched, slamming her pom poms into it's head every time she said get away.

OOC: Excellent *rubs hands together evilly* There are about 5 songs in KH with words. Simple and Clean, Sanctuary, Twister -Kingdom Mix-, Someday -Kingdom Mix-, and Calling -Kingdom Mix-.

"How can you girls do that without music?" Seiki asked as large monster swung an axe at him, nearly taking off his head.
"We're professional dancers. We can keep time and follow a beat without music." Gumi said, waiting for a lyric break in the song she was dance/fighting to before answering.
Seiki swung his sword up, colliding with the brute's axe, blocking the attack, but causing his sword to get knocked away. He fell back as the monster brought its axe over its head to swing it down to kill Seiki.

An arrow came whirling through the air, implanting its self into the monster's skull. It let go of the ax, which was coming down on Seiki. Two other arrows came and slammed into the steel of the ax, pushing it so it missed Seiki, but barley.

"Thanks." Seiki said. He quickly turned and grabbed his sword, slicing off a monster's arm before Gumi came flying by kick it in the head. Neru was still dancing, swinging her chakrams around as she did so. The bladed edges scratched and sliced anyone who got near her.

Ooc: Its sad really...I already have the first part of the melody down on the piano...*cries*

Blake took down two more of the wolf like monsters before one jumped from above and took a chunk of his shoulder and torn his jacket. He took and arrow and stabbed it through the heart while clutching his shoulder. Chrisy gasped and ran over to him, hitting the surrounding wolf like monsters in the head, repeatedly the same line, "Bad doggy!"

OOC: You play piano? Also, you should learn to play Dearly Beloved.

Gumi took off her blindfold and looked over at Blake having heard a commotion over there. she rushed over and swung a leg around kickeing the monster away. "Are you ok?"
Neru moved to stand near Blake and Gumi to protect them.

ooc: some what. I don't have the skill or control to do both chord and melody. The only one I can do Melody and Chord at same time is Green Sleeves. I can play the melody of Rue's Whistle Song, some of Glad You Came, some Mr. Saxobeat, Looking For You in the Sky, Hallelujah, and some others. I can try I guess.

Blake nodded his head, just as he passed out and fell to the ground. Chrisy squealed, throwing her hands back, hitting two monsters. One managed to rip her skirt. She looked around at the monsters, angry. "OK! SO FIRST YOU TAKE MY MILEY CYRUS, KATY PERRY, KE$HA, RIHANNA, AND MANY MORE FROM ME, AND NOW YOU RIPPED MY FAVORITE SKIRT!!" she screamed. Lunging at the monsters, she smacked them with her pom poms (Imagine on of those anime scenes where their cartoon and small and the hands are moving so fast that they are invisible).

Neru stopped and watched as Chrisy burtally bashed the beast into a pulp. Seiki stood back, trying to fight some of the mosnters further away from Chrisy, trying to avoid possibly ending up collateral damage in her assault.
Gumi took her blindfold and worked it into a bandage for Blake. "It's not great, but it'll have to do until we get a moment to rest and I can dig through our supplies for a first aid kit."

Chrisy finished her attack and calmly skipped through the bodies on the ground and hopped in font of them. "Hya" she said cheerfully. The surviving monsters ran into the forest of all directions.

Seiki resheathed his sword then quickly went digging through his bag of supplies. He found a small white box. He went over to Blake and used a needle and thread to sew up his wound. He then poured a little medicine from a bottle on the wound before patching it up with some bandages. "That should do if he rests and doesn't overwork his arm."
Gumi picked Blake up and carried him piggy back. Neru put away her chakrams.

Chrisy quickly went over to Blake, and took out the map from his pocket. Luckily, when the monster had torn his hoodie, it missed the map. SHe looked it over, brows furrowed. "I don't understand these things" she said. She looked over to Neru and motioned for her to take it.

Neru took it and look at the map. "Ok then. Looks like it's this way. However, while I frankly don't care, we should try to set up some kind camp so that one can have time to recover."
"Some time to rest after that sounds like a good idea." Seiki said.

Chrisy agreed and looked around for a comfortable spot for her sleeping bag.

Gumi set Blake down then set up a place for him to sleep peacefully. She then curled her in her own sleeping bag. Neru slept a little away from the others while Seiki stayed up for a bit playing his keytar some more, it still nto making any sound however.
