the only problem is if dark52 would want to go through all the work of setting it up, cause theres alot of coding to do and files to setup

It's a little hard really. I have a website that works like and looks like Spyrorocks' "SpyroChat" and I built it from the ground up in a day. The site is down today because my server overheated and I pulled the plug. smilie

Well, chatrooms are temporary, threads are forever.

I mean, if you posted it here on the forum, your post will be there to stay and you can read it again for the memories of it!

I doubt it would stop it, but it's a good theory. The people who chatroom-talk on forums think that's how you're supposed to talk on forums; a chatroom wouldn't be any different.

Just use AIM or MSN or something like that. Not every forum needs to have a built-in chatroom.

There's a way to log on to SpyroChat without a SpyroForum account, though.

Maybe darkSpyro and SpyroForum have one chatroom?

I don't think that would work so well. There are so many members in both places; It would get overloaded with comments. And if you've seen the threads about SpyroForum here, people here don't seem to like Spyroforum members at all.

See? When DS and SF come together, sure there will be a few "adjustments" needed, BUT we will get along.

1. I don't think anyone here actually likes Spyroforum except the Spyroforum members, and vice versa. It would just lead to flame wars about which forum is better. -__-
2. Spyrorocks and Dark52 would have to manage the chat together. Riiight.
3. Why don't you just get a SpyroForum account if you want to use SpyroChat?
4. They operate on completely different rules. DarkSpyro is much more relaxed about spam, flaming, etc, than Spyroforum. The DarkSpyro members would be upset because it's too strict, and the Spyroforum members would be upset that it's too lax.

SR has a good point though. I mean, if you are an admin you can de-admin and de-mod. Imagine of site takeover! But... Hmm.... Doppel for administrator? Sounds nice!

dark52 (Notice the small "d?") looks fine at running things, no doubt.
