So my friend and I were playing with my figures, and when my friend picked up LC Drobot, his left wing fell off. Drobot showed no sign os a wobbly wing ever. It just broke. I am really thinking that the people making the figures aren't putting much effort into them. My friends Terrafin S2 lost his right knuckle when my sister stepped on it. My Pop Fizz's bottle came out of his hand. My S1 Hex's arm broke off (then again, whose hasn't?)!

All my sons figures are intact. When I customize I have to tweak limbs and body parts in different directions, but hose haven't come apart either. We have over 100 figures and all are perfect (knocks on wood)

I haven't had any figures get damaged yet, except for the LightCore Eruptor I deliberately attacked in an attempt to disassemble it. (A failed attempt. I got the arms out, but I couldn't get the body apart for the life of me. Not even heating it up to loosen any glue did the trick!)

I think you've just had some bad luck, Mesuxelf.

I've actually been impressed by the durability of (most of) the Skylanders figurines. They've endured my 6-year-old and 4-year-old's handling and free play, and very, very few figurines have suffered any significant damage. They certainly aren't indestructible, but they aren't fragile either (Series 1 Hex, and Chill, and Series 1 Chop Chop are notable exceptions).

Well, speaking for my wife and I (two adult players and collectors), we haven't had any damage to any figures so far, knock on wood. They've even survived being packed in incredibly tightly in a couple of the round, cloth SSA carrying cases with no ill effects. Maybe it's just bad luck and/or not being as careful as you might be with the more delicate characters?

Only one figure to break of mine was leg. ignator but i returned him cause i had bought him 2 weeks earlier and barely played him *so possible a factory error). Son so far has broke jade flashing, one her wings. His leg. bouncer stoped working all together, it doesnt even read the chip or give a toy error, not sure whats going on there. At some point I need to call activison up on those two plus my fuzzy tree smash. He gives the toy error and reseting etc aint working.

I haven't had a single break, yet, and I HAVE S1 Hex, she's one of my favourites... About 50 figures, most crammed into the round plastic/cloth SSA case, and still no breaks. A looseness here or there, but that's it. My nephews' Drobot lost a wing, though. Series 1 though.

I have an opened version of every figure from both SSA and Giants (minus S2 Hex who has yet to show her face, lol)... I have not had any of them break as of yet *knock on wood*!! To be fair, I also don't just leave them lying around or sitting out, and I put them away in their storage boxes when done playing, so i'm sure that helps too!! smilie
