How many times do I have to say this: The Wii is not underrated! It's one of Nintendo's best selling consoles! Just because the they don't make games for it anymore, doesn't mean it's underrated! They just make games for Wii U and 3DS instead now.

It's still underrated because hardly anyone likes Nintendo exclusives. as much as Sony/Microsoft. Also overrated is the Xbox+Xbox360, and underrated is all other non-Gameboy/DS series Nintendo consoles.

Overrated: 360. In my opinion, unless you are in love with the FPS genre or sports simulation games (FIFA, Madden, etc.), there is no reason to have this console. A couple of multiplatform games have better versions for the 360, like Bayonetta, but it's not enough to redeem the console.

Underrated: Nintendo Gamecube. It had my personal favorite controller of any console out there and it had some of Nintendo's most experimental, yet still successful and fun, first-party entries. If they hadn't insisted on using their own optical storage format, I think we could have seen a lot more from the lunchbox. <.<

Under-rated: Sega Saturn.

Over-rated: Microsoft Xbox 360.

Underrated: PSP- Seriously, this had some very enjoyable games. Splinter Cell, SOCOM Fireteam bravo, Megaman Maverick Hunter X, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror, and many others. I didn't like its lack of a second analog stick, but in the end I felt like it was a very enjoyable portable system. obviously not the best, but should still get some attention.

Overrated: Nintendo 64-*shot and nuked* Okay, it's not because I think it's a bad system. It's a great console. I just think people overhype it as a perfect console, when it's not. It's like when I went to see The Hunger Games; I thought it was way too overhyped, but still a good flick. I feel the same way about the N64. in the end, my only problem with the system was I felt the controller was hard to use because of its three handles. other than that, it's a good system, but I just hate it when people overhype it like the way I said before.

Overrated: Wii - I thought the controller was a gimmick in the end and there wasn't many games that I enjoyed on it.

Underrated: Gamecube - I thought there were some great games on this: Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Metroid Prime 1+2 and Super Smash Bros Melee. I also owned a lot of Sonic games on it too.

Over: Xbox 360. People love Call of Duty TOO much to call this over rated.

Under: Gamecube. It has got to be ne of the best systems in terms of game variety. My dad has at least four Gamecube disc cases full of games. That is a ton. It also had one of the greatest controllers!

People here must not have much experience with any console outside of Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony. Aside from the N-Gage and Saturn, none of those other consoles mentioned here are underrated.

Ha... both the Xbox One & PS4 are completely overrated. They are both PC's. Look at the specs. A modern PC in a plastic box with a limited interface, plain and simple. At least the Wii U is an ATTEMPT to make a gaming console that is far different from a PC. The Wii U is underrated and once someone opens the thing up for homebrew we will see it's true potential... The Wii was shown that it could do amazing things once it's potential was realized via homebrew. The Wii U will get there.

Just so you know, I actually didn't buy the chips to get my sidekicks. When I was at scout camp, everybody was having chips for lunch. One of the unique things about the bags the actual chip bags were in was that they had the code for the sidekicks. I asked if I could keep the bags, they let me, so here we are, waiting for my sidekicks to come.

Anyway, back on topic. The Wii U is definitely underrated, while the PS4 is overrated, thanks to Kappatroll over there.

Considering the improvement from it and gamecube, really didn't feel like it deserved all the love it appeared to get. Had some great games, but it as a console just didn't feel all that delivering. Controller wasn't the best thing either.
Wasn't sure whether or not to put Pc cause PC MASTER RACE.
Underrated: xbox one
Considering it seems to have become the cool thing to hate it and the 360, whether or not the reason is valid.
