Just noticed on their website that it labels there starter kits as walmart exclusive. Just wondering if anyone knows any information about this? Given the nature of the giants starter kit you think we will see a variant of anyone or even a different colored or translucent portal or both?

Dark wash buckler, Dark blast zone and dark ninjas stealth elf?

In the description for the item on Walmarts website it lists a coupon booklet for $20 worth of items. That might be all it is considering the price for the "original" starter pack is the same.

Eh, you never know. GITD Cynder wasn't revealed until very late.

Very Interesting. Still though, even if it is a Dark variant I can't imagine they will do that for all of them. There are several Dark variants, and making them all exclusive would mean buying multiple starters. To me it would make more sense to make them store exclusive singles and not bundled with figures we'll already have. I guess we'll see though. I'd rather wait until launch day to confirm they are in-game variants first though before making any decisions.

It would suck if each store got a different dark figure in each start set, at this point I would consider Activision a Diabolic Genius.

For example:
Walmart- dark stealth
Target- Dark Wash Bunkler
Bestbuy: Dark etc
TRU: Dark etc
Gamestop: Dark etc


Let's hope it's doesn't go this way or I'm going to end up with 5 copies of this game urgh.

Pressman produces the non-Monopoly Skylanders board games. It doesn't look like "Island Quest" has been announced yet.

I'm sure it'll be the (almost) exact same thing as GITD Cynder, ONE variant you MAY find at Walmart and only at Walmart.
