At five told this kid who would not stop talking about Santa that he wasn't real. He went crying to his mother and I don't think I saw him again...

Same here. I don't even remember if I ever have believed, it was so obvious to notice that the voice of Santa was pretty similar to my uncle, and suddenly the elf he had with him was right as tall as his son. However, I acted like I would think he's a real character to younger kids for some years, until they got it.
