I am looking to buy a variant or two but I am wondering what is the collect looking one? I like glitter sonic boom and flocked eruptor. What do you guys think?

Metallic Purple, Glitter Hot Head, and Toy Fair Chop Chop are all amazing.

Gold variants look awesome unboxed. I bought 2 like that.

I am looking to spend like 100-150 dollars. Which should I get?

Metallic Purple variants are TOTALLY out of the picture.
They sell for $300.

Get Hot Head or Chop Chop.

Get Chop Chop and Hot Dog (even though Dog isn't as good), they're a bang for your buck.

That reminds me of the Clear Glow in the Dark Glitter Sprockdog someone said about once.

I still would buy that.
A Hot Dog dressed like Sprocket with her wrench in his mouth that is glear with little glow i nthe dark shiny speckles.

E3 Hot Dog comes with 2500 coins and is fully upgraded. very nice.

I would go with metallic chop chop he looks amazing, then prob hot dog e3. If after that maybe a flocked or the employee prism.

I still want to custom make a Clear Glow In The Dark Glitter Sprockdog, LOL! The "clear" part would be hard to impossible to manage without making him from scratch, but the rest... Hot Dog wearing Sprocket's welding goggles.

If you're looking in the 100-150 dollar range, then those brand new "blurple" variants are out of the question (unless you hit pay-dirt and find one in the store).
I personally think the E3 Hot Dog is the nicest looking one, and you can still get him on eBay for a semi-reasonable price, because it's fairly new on the market, and there's a decent supply of sellers from the recent E3 show in California ... for now. If you happen to live in the Los Angeles area, maybe check Craigslist and/or ask the store managers at your local GameStop, too.

Frankly, I think the best-looking Skylanders variants are some of the non-"chase" ones. Scarlet Ninjini, Polar Whirlwind, and Gnarly Tree Rex are all awesome, in my opinion, and all three are really strong in-game characters, too.
I think most Skylanders players might be shocked at how devastating a fully-upgraded Polar Whirlwind character can be. Her in-game stats are quite high, especially if you do the Heroic Challenges. Her attack style is non-traditional, but if you make use of the storm clouds and rainbows while flying around, the large majority of enemies in Giants have targeting mechanisms that are WAY too slow to keep-up with Polar Whirlwind when she's in-flight.

Unless you have an aversion to female characters, rainbows, or unicorns, I'd save my money and buy Polar Whirlwind.

I'd rather have Scarlet than any chase variant, for the same reasons that he said.

Crystal/Clear Stealth Elf looks really nice. Toy Fair Chop Chop will be easier to find though.
