I believe someone else had this issue, but the thread was closed. I'm on the same challenge of getting 5 elemental coins and having no luck. I've tried every element, picking them up at the hideouts (which seems too easy to me for a 2 star challenge) and I've used Skylanders that produce elemental coins by shooting barrels, rocks, sheep, etc. Nothing seems to work. I've actually about given up on the game because this one is so frustrating, as the challenges are the fun part of the game.
