Who played the NES/Arcade versions? I played the NES one, and I got to the second level.. Then I died to the Unicorn Demon duo.

I played that game and I finish it when I was kid, took me weeks to finish it smilie!! (NES version)

A bit of the arcade version but I've mostly played one of its sequels, Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts. One of my first games and what a first game to have...

My cartridge of SGaG has a glitch where the 3rd boss is invisible, and where the 4th level is completely black (except for the Hydra fight).

I remember this on the Commodore 64. The fire castle was usually the striking point for me.

Grabbed a better cartridge at a store in Chicago. Mine flickered REALLY badly.
