Skylanders Sidekicks [CLOSED]

I know to some of you guys this is obvious,but what do the Skylanders Giants Sidekicks do? And also ,do you need to have the corresponding Giant for the sidekicks to work?Thanks in advancesmilie

They just move around and occasionally do something, but that's it.
No, you can use any Skylander with them.
