I fell in love with Legend of Korra, but absolutely despised AtLA. Korra made me want to go back and watch AtLA to give it a second try and I actually liked it tons more for some reason, so no, I don't think its bad. :D

I haven't seen LOK, mostly because I've heard a lot of bad things about it online. By a lot I mean I could probably write a 500 word essay on the flaws in the series without having seen a single episode.

But everyone has different preferences and opinions, so it's not neccessarily bad if you do like it more than ATLA. There's just a lot of people who don't like it.

To me, TLoK was almost perfect. Its downfall was the rushed ending. Other than that, it was perfect.

I LOVED TLA, but I like LOK more because it was just better. I liked Korra's growth, as well as Lin, Tenzin, Asami, and Bolin (Though Mako can go die). Amon being a pathetic lowlife is cool character.

I'm sick to death of both of them. My brother is obsessed with both and watches the same episodes over and over and over again and it's tiring.

I never was a big fan of either of them even the first time I saw them (sorry, no offense to the fans), but I think TLA is better in my opinion. Not saying much though.

ALSO: I agree that Mako is definitely not my favorite character, to say the least
