Gnorcing Hunters [CLOSED]

That's right the Help Files listing is at last accurate, Hunters now have the ability to suspend other users for up to 24 hours. This introduces shorter suspension times so you might find the bar set a bit lower as to when misbehaviour will earn a Gnorc.

We have been told that we cannot misuse the ability. Since we can see all the details of suspensions, it'll be pretty easy to tell when the power is being abused. <.<

Then PM dark52 along with evidence. That's what I'd do if I had to argue a decision against a hunter, although hopefully that'll never have to happen.

Well on other sites, what usually happens is that those requests are usually granted and that's it. On this site though where everyone always seem to wonder why someone else is banned, I could only imagine the potential miscommunication and demonization of said hunter...

To clarify, you will never be informed of who does the suspension. It could be a Hunter, it could be dark52. It's entirely anonymous. The only way someone would find out for certain is if A) you're suspended for longer than 24 hours, in which case it's dark52, or B) a different Hunter lets it slip who is responsible for the suspension, which would be misconduct, if you ask me. <.<

Same as the site I moderate - if you're banned, you won't know who did it, but surely people will still presume that the ban was a result of misconduct as opposed to a request. I just think people should stop bothering making topics about people's whereabouts. >.>

Not all mods are the sharpest knife in the butcher box, some that already have proved that they have miss used power to sticky topics that should be stickied at all, if you like fandom and Video gaming. Some of the mods that really don't do their job well to begin with and have some people they hate or threatens their mind or dominance will certainly ban the user as long as they can.
