From the picture, the one on the (left) i got him over 3 months ago & the one on the (right) i just got him today

I suspect random factory error type thing that caused the seond one. I have the first. Though I agree the second is better.

It's probably not so much a factory error, as it's the fact they're making thousands of these things. No two are *exactly* alike and you're bound to find some that vary a lot.

I wouldn't be surprised to find that these two were even made at two different factories.

I hate to say it, but it just looks like Fright is leaning a little far forward in the first one. Bend the ankle a little and they look pretty much the same.

Skylanders bend REALLY easily, I suspect the old one, the ostrich was bent forward on his legs, the new one is bent backwards. Oh, and it looks to me like the old one has a bent spear, mine was bent like that too until I bent it back. The figures are quite agreeable in this way.

All Skylanders produced from when Drobot came out all have near perfect paint jobs.

My dad and I found the factory error fright rider at walgreens here in palm coast.Its nothing special,the makers screwed up with the placement.This is the blue gem prism break all over again.

It's a shame that I have never met a person face to face who knows what a chase variant is.
