For anyone that purchased him, is he worth the investment?

I personally don't think so, but others seem to love him. Just know that he does NOT automatically collect your kingdom xp. You have to click on him every two hours.

And you still have to wait for each object to give the XP. After selecting him it takes several minutes to collect everything. But it spares you many finger taps.

I got him when he was on sale. He saves sometime so I don't have to tap all of the houses and I can look for totems and collect from sanctuaries and balloons instead. I personally find him useful.

I got him on sale and I am so glad to have him. You do have to tap his stand every 2 hours for him to work (same as farmer smurf on that tap game). I only wish he would collect stuff every time it's ready but oh well. As I got more islands and items on them Quigley has been a big help.

For the full price, which is what I paid when he first came out, I expected from the description that he'd collect every two hours, like when I was sleeping, for example. As he is, I figure he's worth about 20 gems. I just wanted the OP to know that.

Very fair point Bjornolf. I can see how that would be disappointing especially paying full price. I'm still upset about Hyde as I bought him right away thinking he would appear daily and be present until I found him... I still don't know how he works because I've only seen him 3 times so far... Anyway back to Quigley :-)

How do you get Quigley?

I have the Newsstand at an early level. I'm now at level 22 with 36/83 skylanders activated and 16/28 companions.

Quigley can't be bought, it is locked, says it needs goal.. What could that goal be?

If I remember correctly eventually you will be given a quest that will result in unlocking him. I don't know what level it is since I was 30 when he was added to the game.

I was pretty sure I got him pretty early. I would think that he would unlock the same time that his newsstand did. That would only make sense.
