i think it would be cool to put your level up'd characters onto the portal and fight like a street fighter style fighting game with finishing moves PG rated of course!

Anyway, it'd be kinda fun to have a one on one Skylanders fighting game, but for now I'm happy with their PvP options.

I still think a "kart" racer is the way to go next. Although the "kart" should be replaced with small planes, something in the style of Diddy Kong Racing, me thinks.

If the fighting game was like Super Smash Bros, then yes. If like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, then no. Fans of SSB have wanted Spyro in the game for years.

Arena Battle is fine with me, just wish there was online multiplayer or four player battle royale or team battle.

I think the Arena Battle works great for this purpose. I had a tournament at my son's birthday party where the kids chose elements and did it last man standing. The winner got an Amazon Gold Flameslinger, everyone else got a GitD Sonic Boom. Despite a few hiccups it turned out great. The best part was the really nice kid on the corner pulled out a mean Tree Rex and wiped the floor to win it all.

A 2D Street Fighter type game is too limited for the vast upgrade system in Skylanders. It would involve altering their core abilities too much. If you haven't tried it, the Power Stone games from Capcom are a great example of how the Arena Battle can really shine, I hope that future Skylanders games keep adding interesting things like that. Adding four player would be awesome, even if it was only for Arena Battle and required online or two portals attached. An eight versus eight (or more) online Battle Royale mode would be crazy awesome.

I don't want a fighting game but a racing game would be fine.

As long as it would be a kart racer, it could be really fun.

I like games like SSBB, but a kart racer would fit the target audience.

Honestly I would be extremely happy if they added online multiplayer to swapforce but for some reason i think they dont do it because it would limit the 2nd player to jumping into someone elses game mid way and ruin the story. Now if they could do a 2nd storyline which is designed for multiplayer that could alleviate the issue or after you beat the game on Normal you can unlock online multiplayer for the storyline thus preventing ruining the story. Also i have not played the arena battles as i dont have anyone to play them with and without a 2nd player locally i have no interest in it. so yes adding online multiplayer to the battle arena would make it even more enjoyable for this situation.

I do like the idea of an SSB style game as that makes more sense also a clone of Sega All Star Racing Transformed would be really cool too but they would have to create an awful lot of different types of cars to cover the entire roster of characters or create a car per element which can be modified with small features unlocked through the portal and even have boosts and weapons that are added through the portal with items or sidekicks!

Actually, online co-op multi-player could work out even better - when one person is switching out figures, it wouldn't have to pause the entire game - just remove the other player, make something flash on your screen to let you know they've dropped out, then flash again when they come back.
