I read on here about people winningmultiple stuff from the wishing well. I realise my husband and son need to play more often but twice I got the alter ego within 2 days giving me no chance to win anything else.

I have all the alter egos and until this month when I scored a fire shrine my haul was:

2 egg baskets

3 cocoa stands

4 taverns

My son(number 1 skylanders fan) has missed 1 alter ego

0 anything useful

My husband has missed 2 alter egos

1 Tree Rex statue

That's not a terrible haul in my opinion. You've got a shrine, when many people (myself included) have picked up none. I've missed four alter egos, but I've now changed strategy to a pro-wishstone economy so I'm hoping to address that.
If you've been lucky enough to twice pick up the alter ego in two days, then you probably saved yourself a a couple of hundred wishstones. So effectively you should have also picked up the Hall of Legends.
However, I don't have the faintest clue what an egg basket is...

Last month I won a radiant energy field after winning the alter ago - I was glowing!

I'm pleased to find others who miss out. Though it's no consolation to the 14yo when Mum gets stuff and he doesn't. The post was for his benefit not mine.

Seems there's nothing much he can do about it. Just bad luck.

I've now got the hall of legends having adapted the strategy on here. Wish I'd found Thais place months ago.

I think Activision was getting sick of me on Facebook. Though I was probably a breath of fresh air compared to people complaining about being banned from black ops.

Egg basket is a little Easter basket with colored eggs in it. They pop out some energy every once in a while like the Tree Rex statue. Like the cocoa stand or jack-o-lantern, they were only available to buy near their respective holidays, but are still in the wishing well.

How many wish stones are they throwing into the well? It usually takes roughly 150-200 wish stones to win the alter ego for the month.

Today I scored a fishery and a bakery.

To answer the question about number of stones I'm about to reach the top level on the luck meter and my son is one level behind me with nothing but trees,energy and coins.

Oh husband was working or busy with visitors today. I checked his iPad 8 times. A grand total of just 4 totems for the day. He does have an earth shrine and is about half way up the meter.

I have never gotten a big prize besides the 55,000 gold and thr alter egos. I have won a magic sculpture but that's it. No buildings or shrines.

I have never gotten a shrine, but I have won a few buildings (couple cocoa stands, couple taverns, a fishery) and several chompie snowmen. I don't know if it helps, but I never won a building until I started saving up. As soon as I get the alter ego, I stop using stones until the next month. I usually have around 550 stones when the new alter ego pops up. I use them in a row until I get him (usually a little under 200), then stop and save up again. Maybe if your son stopped using stones until like one day left on SSB's time, then dumped them all in, he might get some buildings? Just a thought.

I have NEVER won an alter ego, and play this game almost every day. Very annoying. I've gotten a tavern and a small fire shrine. Nothing else useful though...

My son was away for 2 days and I had his iPad.

The result after checking it every half hour to an hour completely randomly:

Day 1 : 2 totems with 2743 coins, 1 berry bush

Day 2 no totems at all.

Good news both boys got a fishery today.

It's school holidays here and the one hour sanctuaries and wizard trolls came at a really good time.
