I used to make LOOOOOADS of random and pointless topics when I first got into S&N. I don't make many anymore, I think I've made about 4 in the S&N this month.

Beh. People will claim you are trying to gather attention, society's toxic views on "attention" nowadays is rather...ridiculous, really.

Usually people don't post in threads because they're not interested in them, shy, have nothing to say or something else. Being on the internet, people probably don't truly know you enough to rationally hate you and avoid every thread because you made it.
