I'm wondering exactly what this is, mentioned in the article (http://senpaigamer.com/nintend...o-06192013-0959 ) confirming a Japan Skylanders release:

Each 2999 Yen pack comes with the Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, One Map, Two Figures, Four Trading Cards, Four Stickers while the cheapest the 1199 Yen version comes with One Sky Lander, one trading card, one sticker sheet.

Note the phrase in bold says it comes with Spyro's Adventure, and only two figures, instead of the Triple Adventure (standard) starter pack.

it says ps3 and others not only wii-u, so this remake is definitive heading our way... i expect a new re-realease of all the old 32 figurines too....

i hope they now have updated..

1. for the sg game engine or better the ssf game engine.
2. made it so we can skip cut scenes and specially the cali heroics talking
3. added all the sg figures so we can play them in ssa.


if they done any of this i will be celebrating

Pretty sure it's just a repacking/re-release of the other systems, and a port to the Wii-U. I don't think they're changing anything. That being said, I do believe I've heard that at least the figures are being re-released, though probably only in Japan. So people can probably order from the online version of Japanese stores, as long as you accept the Japanese packaging (which, if you're opening the package, shouldn't make a difference except maybe the collector card).

MAYBE when porting to the Wii-U they'll use a more updated version of the game, so it MIGHT be better than the Wii version, or it might be the same.

I see the logic. My understanding is that his single never sold well, so keep it in the 3-pack where he'll see more action.
As for the Stealth Elf single... well, before I knew what Skylanders really was I kinda wanted her toy. By holding back the single for a little bit they'll drive sales of that 3-pack as people buy it just to get her figure.
