Glitch with Hot Dog Soul Gem [CLOSED]

Has anyone else experianced a glitch with the hot dog soul gem in that you get the Hot Dog soul gem from sour sink lodge in Rumbletown but when you go to upgrade Hot Dog it says that the soul gem is unavailable.

It's not a glitch. You will need to purchase the Comet Slam attack in order to buy Ding Dong Ditch. If you did, then I can't help you, sorry.

Yeah, this comes up with a lot of figures. Some Soul Gems require another upgrade first. For Hot Dog that's Comet Slam, since Ding Dong Ditch's attack is based on Comet Slam. You need Comet Slam before you can get or use Ding Dong Ditch. That's all. Nothing to do with having found the Soul Gem, really.

Another fine example is S2 Spyro.
You can't buy his Wow pow without his Soul gem ability, and you can't buy his Soul gem ability without buying his flight ability.
