The Rise

It's been 3 years since the gang, Misty, Vikky, Damian, Kyle, Blake, and the others, were killed in a freak accident with the Haunting, a ghost-like creature who has been causing problems and wreaking havoc around the area. The Haunting disappeared for a few years, and all was calm. That is, until a new age of heroes rose. They had powers, even more strange than our last heroes' powers. The Haunting returned, his goal to destroy the heroes, and bring eternal chaos to the world. The problem is, all of those years in hiding made him stronger. The heroes don't quite know what they're capable of, they don't even know each other. Soon, that will all change..

Short Backstory: Jezebella has always been the brainiac in school. She loves anything that has to do with it. Her parents were killed when she was 12, and she's been looking for closure ever since.
Personality: Jezebella is closed-off and shy. She listens well, but doesn't talk very much.

Power: Shape shifting
Appearance: Tall with an average build. He has short, disheveled, blonde hair with icy blue eyes. He wears torn jeans and a baggy, blue, aeropostal shirt. He wears running sneakers. The bottoms are red as are the laces. The rest of the shoe is grey.
Short Back Story: Dusty was born into a normal home with his twin sister, Taylor. Even though they are twins, they are nothing alike. Yet, they do posses the power to feel the others emotions and pain. They weren't spoiled and grew up right. They were attacked one day in the darkness of the night. Their parents were murdered. They found out that it was the Haunting, the same thing that killed their grandfathers, Damian and Kyle. They were attacked as well, but escaped. They both got scratched by it. Days later, they found out that the creatures scratch had given them powers. They now still live in that house. Dusty was able to get a job to support both him and his sister.
Personality: Dusty loves to joke around and make mischief. He loves to prank people and just have a good time. He can get very serious and touchy on certain topics. He sometimes copies other people's actions.
Other: Is Taylor's brother, Damian and Kyle's nephew, and showing signs that he is gay.

Power: Creating objects from magic. (Magic, can create throwing knives in a split second with magic)
Appearance: Taylor has long blonde hair, with the same icy blue eyes as her brother. She wears black skull headphones around her neck all the time, with her ipod in her jacket. She wears a jean jacket with a white undershirt. She wears long black jeans. She also has a black streak in her hair.
Short Back story: She and Dusty were born twins in a normal stable home. She parents were killed when she and Dusty were 14. They were attacked by the Haunting. They were both scratched and gained powers from the Haunting. Her brother now has a job while she watches and cares for him. They both dropped out of school.
Personality: Taylor is a hot head and loves to be left alone. She admires her brother for getting a job, but still is tough on him. She knows that sometimes he does get out of hand so she has to treat him like a child to keep him focused and in line. She doesn't entirely treat him like a child, but still watches out for him. Some times, when she feels like it, she mocks Dusty for being younger than her by a minute, in which Dusty gets mad. She does like to have fun sometimes, but mostly listens to music.

Age: 15
Power: Telekenisis (Can control animals, people, but using it will weaken him and usually makes him pass out. Controlling squirrels and bugs doesn't though.)
Appearance: Short with messy brown hair, thin and a dark peach skin color. Wears a green hoodie with the number 55 on the back, jeans, and grey high tops. He wears the hood on all the time and wears a white back sack.
Short Backstory: Fayn's parents dissapeared mysteriously while driving along in a taxi. He was visited by the Haunting when he was around 12, and told that he was going to dissapear the next day. 3 years later he wonders if the Haunting is late, or if something happened...
Personality: He is very carefree and he acts without thinking, but when the moment calls for it, he is a great leader. He is intelligent, but does not care to use his intelligence until everything has fallen into chaos
Other: He carries around a dozen cans of soda in his sack, and drinks some from time to time. Even in moments where everything done will have huge consequences

Appearance: around 4.5 foot tall with a mix of purple and black hair, he has light blue eyes, he wears a res long sleeved shirt with his ears are pointed, he wears black sweat pants, his skin is a dark like white, and wears a black scarf over his face.
Short Backstory: When he was young he lived a normal life once he was 13 his family was then killed by the haunting and he was then given a dark power he then as spent his life then on living in wild forests and caves
Personality: Very shy at first, can get a little carried away with power at times, likes to cause a bit of trouble here and there.

OOC: Yes we will start now, were all at school, don't know each other at all.

Jez quickly wrote in her journal. She walked slowly down the halls writing. She ran into her locker and fell to the ground as kids laughed at her.

ooc: but...my characters dont go to school

Ooc: *sigh*
Say they're doing volunteer work?

Ooc: what kind of voluteer work DX

Taylor locked the door to the house as Dusty started walking to the school.

Sayble walked into the school as he was new there his scraf made it so his face and ears couldn't be seen by anyone he also wore black eye contacts so no body saw his light blue eyes

Ooc: um... Assistant teachers I don't know

Jez stood up as the kids stopped laughing. She opened her locker and grabbed her books

Sayble then put on some gloves so that nobody saw his skin color as he walked up to his locker. It was next to Jez's locker.

Taylor sighed. She thought that when she dropped out of school that she would never have to go to the building again. She looked at Dusty who was carefree and humming a tune. She had sign paper work for them not having to go to school. Unfortunately, they had to at least attend one day of school before she and Dusty could sign the papers. She did not bring anything for any class and neither did Dusty. She just wanted this to end. The school building started to come to view.

Jez looked to Sayble silently He seems odd... Jez thought to herself

Sayble opened his locker and put his back pack in it but he tried to close it but he had some problems he tried to force it to close

Dusty and Taylor entered the school and headed for the main office. They saw some kids snicker and point at them but she didn't care. They were the kids that knew them before they dropped out. They always were bullies, and they always will be. Taylor went to talk to the principal while Dusty took a seat next to a table that has puzzle pieces scattered over it. He started to work on it.

Jez watched as Sayble had problems. She decided to try and help "you don't want to jam it.. You have to keep the locking mechanism clear" She spoke quietly as she moved the backpack and closed the locker gently. Jez the closed her locker and walked off

Sayble then looked at a sheet of paper he then walked away as it was his school schedule he then walked away

The school day flew by. It was now lunch.

Jez grabbed her lunch and started walking to the lunchroom silently.

ooc: every time i see your characters name CS, i think of Sableye >___> the Pokemon

Taylor sighed as she exited the office. The principal would not let her sign the papers yet, but gave her and Dusty a schedule. She looked at Dusty. "Go to your classes and be good." she said. Dusty nodded and looked at his sheet as he walked away. Taylor watched him until he turned the corner. She looked down to the piece of paper and walked in the opposite direction.

Sayble then got his lunch and looked around for a table to sit at

Taylor found Dusty after all the classes and before lunch. They headed towards the lunch room, with no lunch. They sat down at an empty table.

Jez sat at an empty table and pulled out her lunch slowly. She put her journal on the table and began to write.

Sayble then sat down at the table that jez was sitting at as he put his lunch away

Jez looked up and saw Sayble. She was shocked because nobody normally sits with her. She had no idea what to do so Jez shyly waved.

Sayble then turned around not payong attention to Jez he then got up to go to the bathroom as he was then triped by a kid named Jerry who is a bully "Hey new kid we wanna know why your wear a scarf around your face and contacts" Sayble got up "It none of you business" he yelled at him as he walked away as he was pushed to the ground as the scarf feel off his face and the contacts then fell out of his eyes as he was laying down with his face against the floor

Jez ran over to Sayble. "Morons" She said quietly as she kneeled next to Sayble. "Are you okay?" She asked quietly.

Sayble just layed there as jerry then walked up to him as his shadow made contact with his shadow he then yelped as he held his head as it was like he was just kicked he then walked away as sayble then quickly grabbed his scarf as wraped it around his face with out any one seeing his face as he quickly got out some googles and put them on making his eyes visble only for a second

Dusty and Taylor grumbled as the time slowly passed. "When will this end" Taylor complained.

Fayn glanced from side to side
"Crap," He mumbled "Late again."
He gently slid through the window and snuck to his locker silently, making sure nobody was suspicious of him.

The bell rang signalling lunch has ended.

Jez swiftly moved out the door and moved to her locker.

Taylor was relived when lunch was over. She said bye to Dusty and left for her next class. She wasnt exactly paying attention to where she was going.

Jez grabbed all she need and walked to her next class slowly.

Sayble then got up and ran to his locker and got his things for his next class to

The bell rang signalling the school day was over

Jez walked out the school doors and walked towards a smoothie shop.

Sayble then ran past Jez as he was running to an old part of town

where the heck would he be going Jez thought as her eyes followed Sayble.

After a whil sayble started walking as he was almost at his house

ooc: so...when this gonna pick up

Taylor sighed as she and Dusty exited the school. They had just signed the papers allowing them to drop school. She looked at Dusty who was looking towards a smoothie shop. "Wanna get a smoothie?" she asked Dusty. He looked at her with a shine in his eyes. "Ya!." he replied. They walked to the shop and ordered.

Ooc: Soon, very soon
Like, in a few posts, I need everyone to be in the same place though.

Jez ordered an orange cream smoothie and sat down. The sky was starting to darken.

Sayble looked around as he then walked up to his old house as it looked kinda broken down as he then sighed "Finally i can take this scarf off my face dang i was sweating all day" as he took his scarf off his fae and shoved it in his backpack and put his goggles away to as he walked in the house
Ooc:CL could you make Jez like curious about where sayble was going and head to the old part of town?

Ooc: so, wheres that familiar meadow thats in every one of your role plays

As Dusty and Taylor finished their drinks, they began to walk to their house. It was close to an old part of town where not many lived. They were on the edge of the old part.

Ooc: Sure CS and DC >.< really


Jez got curious and started to wonder where Sayble might have gone. She grabbed her stuff and quickly ran to the old part of town.

Ooc: Don't worry, ill discover it soon

Taylor noticed one kid she saw from the school run to his house. She shrugged and opened her houses door.

Sayble layed down on a couch that seemed new as he turned on the tv

Ooc: *facepalm*

Jez looked at the door and slowly approached it. She shakily moved her hand and knocked at the door.

The sky grew darker, as a white creature started to form.
