Are you sure Frito Lay is the ones to contact on this? It's quite possible that the US-only terms of the promotion was something decided by Activision.

You have to understand where the bigger sales is for this as I can understand your frustration in not being able to effectively take part in the promotion but who's to say they won't get it? Right now the US is getting them first starting in 4 days.

Yes there are those here that are from Canada, UK, etc but Acti seems to be concerning with the US since they get most of their sales from there. You have to be patient.

Anyway, they'll do a gamestop promo... Pretty sure they'll do it to Canada like the SSA Sidekick! So just wait guys!!!

The EB Games promo was only for 1-2 weeks not months like Frito-Lay. I have been lucky enough to grab the 4 sidekicks at Joliette when available. I have post the EB Games add in the skylanders Canada thread but no one have care when it was time.

Ah, but we're not asking for Canada INSTEAD. Yes, reality dictates we must admit that the U.S. is a bigger, more important market. BUT! America AND Canada is unquestionably a bigger market than the U.S. alone. And we have Skylanders, we have Frito-Lay (pretty sure we even have a Frito Lay plant right here in Quebec), we should get the promotion too. We were arbitrarily left out last time, since the Sidekicks FINALLY made it here (a year later), I would have thought Frito-Lay/Activision (whoever is responsible for this huge diss) would have taken that as a cue to include us this time.

I don't care, I'm still looking for these packages, just in case this is a mistake and we really are included (or will be, just with a later start). LOL!

Wait? Last time they had the chip promotion, it was something like a year ago, from what I understand, and it went for months. It took them a year to finally bring them to Canada, and then only for 2 weeks. Which means (if they do the same thing) it will be May 2014 before we see these Giantkicks, when we should be seeing them now. That's a LONG wait for figures which belong to a no-longer-current game, especially ones that don't do anything really. Especially since many of us have decided not to continue with Swap Force, meaning we probably won't be buying anything for these games any more, we won't be playing anymore.

And please stop calling it Gamestop, LOL! It confuses people, ours are called EBGames.

What would be nice--if site allowed--is for a US resident to partner up with someone out of US--then we could get that person the sidekicks and I'm sure..things will come up that the favor would be returned.

That's a nice idea, but this late in things, there's no more guarantee that Canadians (for example) will HAVE any more advantages with which to return the favour, LOL! Not much left to come out, after all.

But for me--I like the idea of helping each other out. I try to PM and offer to help people out when I can. So it'd be fine if the favor wasn't returned or it was returned for swap force. I'm not saying we should pay for it--just do the ordering and mailing.
